Credibility of the US- LOL.

Making his most passionate plea for military strikes in Syria, President Obama on Wednesday said the credibility of the U.S. — and that of the international community as a whole — is on the line, and a failure to act against the regime of President Bashar Assad will embolden war criminals, dictators and despots for years to come.

Speaking at a press conference in Stockholm, Sweden, Mr. Obama said he believes Congress will ultimately approve action against Mr. Assad’s government, which U.S. intelligence officials have concluded has used chemical weapons against its own people repeatedly in the country’s ongoing civil war.

That action, Mr. Obama said, crossed a red line that was drawn by the world community, not by him.

“The international community’s credibility is on the line. And America’s and Congress’ credibility is on the line because we give lip service to the notion that these international norms are important,” Mr. Obama said, with Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt alongside him.

“I do think we have to act. Because if we don’t, we are effectively saying that even though we may condemn it and issue resolutions and so forth and so on, somebody who is not shamed by resolutions can continue to act with impunity and those international norms begin to erode and other despots and authoritarian regimes can start looking and saying, ‘That’s something we can get away with,’ ” Mr. Obama said.

Got it? The world said “red line”, not Obama.

Good grief.

I didn’t set a red line, the world set a red line,” Obama said. “My credibility’s not on the line. The international community’s credibility is on the line. And America and Congress’s credibility’s on the line.

Obama has sunk to his lowest point.
He always had a strong, ”blame XXXX,” streak, but now he is completely dipped in it.
I was looking for him saying this to see if he was on or off the teleprompter.
Here it is….he was ON HIS OWN.

He also called his own words, ”lip service.”

he has an anger problem management,
this won’t help it unless he can attack, than his anger will be manage,

“My credibility isn’t on the line, . . . . it’s America’s and Congress’s credibility that’s on the line.”

From the lips of who? Certainly NOT from the President of a Nation. Not from the President of The United States. Naaaaah, not possible.

What a completely moronic statement to make, particularly as it is made on foreign soil.

Someone should point out to this genius that America elected him.

As I watched Obama say this, I almost exhaled a mouthful of great coffee, and asked my wife how it was possible that there could be anyone left supporting him.

This narcissistic incompetent is embarrassing America. Is it not obvious?

“Red line? Er, ah, well, yeah, I said that chemical weapons being used in Syria would be “a” red line. But it wasn’t really MY red line. It was simply a “red line” placed by someone else. Oh, let me see. Do I remember who? Why yes, it’s all George Bush’s fault.”

Obama gives new meaning to the word “weasel.”
