Obama approval drops to 39%

President Obama’s disapproval hit 54% in Gallup’s three-day running averages.

He also fell to 39% approval of the job he is doing.

Both marks are records for Obama.

His approval is at its lowest.

His disapproval is at its highest.

In other words, he is at negative 15%.

If Obama were a TV show, he would be canceled.

He is doing worse on the Gallup than on the Rasmussen, where he is at 44% approval/54% disapproval.

At this point in President Bush’s presidency, Bush was highly popular.

In August 2003, Gallup reported, via Instapundit: “Americans are increasingly likely to say things are not going well for the United States in Iraq, but the latest CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll finds no decline in the past month in public support for the U.S. presence there or in public approval of the way President Bush is handling the situation. Bush’s overall job approval rating — at 59% — is also little changed across the four Gallup Polls conducted since mid-July.”

True that was at a time when there was a much more rosy view of Iraq (state Senator Barack Obama would tell the late Tim Russert in July 2004 that there was virtually no difference between his policy on Iraq and George Bush’s).

But readers saw how Iraq and consequently Bush 43′s popularity worked out.

Thanks to the $787 billion stimulus the economy is now Obama’s Iraq. He can bring it around, I suppose.

This poll means nothing to him and for the country being so far away from election day.

It surprises me that Obama can still fool that many people all of the time, that they still want him as their leader. The term, “You deserve what you get” comes to mind.

Ivan is in DENIAL !!! Doh bama is TOAST!!!! woo hoo

I’m still waiting for you to acknowledge when Obama has high ratings. We’ll see how you do next year when Obama wins against the cartoon character assortment of Republicans.

Liberal1[objectivity]
of course you never notice which one of OBAMA’S CARTOON IS MOST POPULAR.
THERE ARE SO MANY OF THEM POLLUTING THE MEDIAS AIR WAVES,
COMPARE TO THE ELEPHANTS VERY POSITIVE CARTOON THAT AMERICANS PREFER,
ALSO THE TEA PARTY WHICH IS POSITIVELY IMPACTING OVER THE NEGATIVE CARTOONS OF THE LEFT WHOLE DEMOCRAT’S CRUMBLING PARTY

Libtard 2, your claim was asked and answered some time ago. You’ve been told this before. Try thinking for once.

The one thing I’ll say about this poll is that Gallup asks their questions from a pool of all adults.
Up until now that pool has been much more FOR Obama than polls drawn from either registered voters OR likely voters.
So, for Obama to have fallen this far IN THIS POLL, should be a much more scary result than seeing these same numbers in other polls.

These are the folks Obama was hoping he could add to his ”base” and get to vote for him in 2012.
They aren’t biting.

Obama cancelled the testing requirements for kids, established by the “No Child Left Behind” program. The reason was because they were failing tests. Obama knows that an educated student can think for themselves. Obama wants to go back to the type of education where the kids graduate without knowing how to read a job application. He wants them to rely on the govenment to support them. This way they will continue voting for whoever will give them the most.

Does it surprise anyone that BHO’S approval rating is so much higher than the Tea Party at 26% and Congress at 18% ?

Head up he leads all Repub. challengers with Romney and Paul the closest.

The average American voter is in a foul mood.
