This is a microcosmic view of the argument for Newt, he packs a punch. He can articulate issues in a more forceful fashion than anyone else on that stage. I don’t think anyone has formed that thought after listening to Romney.
If the GOP nominates Romney, and Obama has his projected $1B campaign budget, how confident are you that Romney can win? I’m not. The hard part for Newt is getting the nomination. Once he has that he will show, better than anyone else could, a definitive contrast with Obama that can defeat $1B. Imagine Obama against Newt in 7 Lincoln-Douglas style debates (even imagine him in only 1 or 2)!
