New York Times Exposes Obama failure with Turkey (which is now totally anti-American)

Atlas Shrugs:

Turkey — Obama’s one success story, right? Wrong. Everything this loser pretended is falling apart.

It was just this May that Mr. Obama stood in the Rose Garden with Mr. Erdogan and said to reporters, “I value so much the partnership that I’ve been able to develop with Prime Minister Erdogan.” Now, when Mr. Erdogan speaks caustically about American scheming, officials are left to wonder if Mr. Erdogan really believes what he says, or whether he is using such talk as a populist ploy.

When asked who was his most favorite and trusted ally, the quisling in the White House named Erdogan.

“It’s the first time in memory that pro-[Erdogan] newspapers are calling for the American ambassador to leave,” Mr. Cagaptay said. “That’s unique.”

“American diplomats privately pleading” to no avail. You have to hand it to Obama: he is consistently wrong. He gets it wrong every time.

I am surprised that the New York Times admists to Obama’s abject failure here. But it is so public, what choice did they have? They get a lot wrong (the Times actually claims that Obama doesn’t support Morsi), but that is typical of the Times, rewriting history. The Times and the rest of the enemedia is like the man with the shovel following behind Obama the circus elephant.

Obama in May 2013 in the Rose Garden:

This visit reflects the importance that the United States places on our relationship with our ally, Turkey, and I value so much the partnership that I’ve been able to develop with Prime Minister Erdogan.
….
So, again, Mr. Prime Minister, I want to thank you for being here and for being such a strong ally and partner in the region and around the world. I know that Michelle appreciates the opportunity to host Mrs. Erdoğan and your two wonderful daughters this morning. I’m looking forward to our dinner tonight. And, as always, among the topics where I appreciate your advice is close to our hearts, and that’s how to raise our daughters well. You’re a little ahead of me in terms of their ages.

Now, Erdogan has shivved Obama in the back.
Oh, well, at least the Obama’s got some Islamic advice on how to raise their two taciturn daughters first.
How had Obama treated our ACTUAL allies and friends?
Sent the Dali Lama packing out the back door by the garbage bags.
Refused to share a meal with the head of Israel…..until the public shaming forced him to on a later visit.
Returned the bust of Winston Churchill to the UK.
Bought cheap, thoughtless gifts for UK’s queen and PM.
How has Obama treated our sworn enemies?
Secret meetings with Iran.
A million dollar gift to the new president of Iran.
Meeting with and siding with Muslim Brotherhood.
Making an Ambassadorial level job for an American to the 57 Islamic states’ organization.
Siding with Islamists in Libya, Syria, Egypt, Gaza.

I spent two semesters as a visiting professor in Turkey, 1998 – 1999. I found the Turks I dealt with to be friendly and well-disposed toward America. I still keep in touch with some of my fellow faculty members and even some of my graduate assistants.

It is nothing short of tragic that our _Resident should have ruined the good relations America has had with Turkey since at least the Korean War. It will take a lot of fixing to restore the good relations after January 2017.
