Last week, the Senate voted to reject the president’s nominee to head the Department of “Justice’s” Civil Rights Division; radical leftist attorney Debo Adegbile; a defender of cop-killing racist (and Progressive Hero) Mumia Abu Jamal. Naturally, Senator Harry Reid(D-Dementia), Jesse Jackson, and many other leftist outfits including NPR shrieked “racism.”
Unfortunately, the Senate Republican’s brief outbreak of actually behaving like an opposition party is not expected to last, and they are expected to confirm Obama’s nominee for Surgeon-General, Dr. Vivek Hallegere Murthy, an anti-2nd Amendment fanatic who wants doctors to help the Obama regime locate the people’s firearms.
Doctors for America has also promoted the invasion of privacy by doctors by allowing them to ask patients if they have guns at home, including asking children if their parents own guns, and pushing back against Florida Gov. Rick Snyder’s decision to sign into law a bill prohibiting doctors there from asking the question.
He also doesn’t seem to understand science particularly well.
He also wants to spend more tax dollars on more research to prove that fewer guns mean a lower crime rate, despite the fact that a number of reputable studies prove the opposite.
Unless you are being treated for a gun inflicted injury, if your doctor brings up the issue of guns, it’s time to find a new doctor. It’s none of his G-D business.
When I went to the doctor last year, I had to fill out a new ‘profile’ form. On the form was a question that asked if I owned any weapons and what kind. I crossed it off and wrote, none of your business. No one said a word to me about it.
