The Huffington Post runs a press release announcing that Media Matters is declaring victory in its war on Fox News.
[I]n the coming years, Fox will no longer be the center of Media Matters’ universe. That’s because the group believes it has effectively discredited the network’s desire to be seen as “fair and balanced.”
“The war on Fox is over,” said Media Matters Executive Vice President Angelo Carusone. “And it’s not just that it’s over, but it was very successful. To a large extent, we won.”
Now is an auspicious time for the left’s leading cable clippers and smear artists to declare victory in the cable news wars. Its cable news ally, religious programmer MSNBC, has lost its capital.
Over tofu turkey, the powers behind the extreme-left cable news network MSNBC must have expressed many thanks yesterday for CNN, because it is only by comparison to CNN that MSNBC’s November ratings are not embarrassing. Compared to November of last year, MSNBC’s viewership has nearly been cut in half and the “Lean Forward” network continues to get crushed by Fox News.
MSNBC has lost 45% of its viewership over the past year. Fox is the most trusted network in America on the biggest story of the day, the left’s collective dishonesty regarding Obamacare.

Much easier for them to target conservative bloggers and “new media” news sources such as Breitbart and Drudge. Flopping Aces & Ace of Spades should receive a lot of free advertizing as Soros minions turn their attention to the internet. (No doubt also raising the number of hacker attacks on conservative sites by the OFA’s cyber-Obamanations.) Best be careful resident trolls, don’t forget what happened to Juan Williams.
