McCabe’s Mea-Non-Culpa Editorial in the, Get This, Washington Post: I Didn’t Intentionally Mislead Anybody. My Answers Weren’t “Fully Accurate,” But I Was Confused

Okay, then riddle me this, Andy’s Office:

Why is Jeff Sessions still recused from overseeing the Russia Hoax then?

He was certainly “confused” by Al Franken’s bafflingly recursive question.

Why is it liberals like you and Hillary Clinton and Bill Clinton are always merely “confused” when you give what you admit answers which are not “fully accurate”?

On March 16, I spent the day with my family waiting to hear whether I would be fired, after 21 years in the FBI and one day before I qualified for my long-planned, earned retirement. As day turned to night, I had a lot of time to reflect on how it would feel to be separated from the organization I loved — and led — and the mission that has been the central focus of my professional life. Despite all the preparation for the worst-case scenario, I still felt disoriented and sick to my stomach. Around 10 p.m., a friend called to tell me that CNN was reporting that I had been fired. She read me the attorney general’s statement.

So much drama he could be an 8th grade Goth Girl whose parents JUST TOTALLY DON’T UNDERSTAND WHAT IT’S LIKE!!!

So, after two decades of public service, I found out that I had been fired in the most disembodied, impersonal way — third-hand, based on a news account.

Kind of how Reince Priebus learned of your leaks — third-hand, in a news report.

Shortly after getting word, I noticed an email from a Justice Department official in my work account, telling me that I had been “removed from the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the civil service.”I have been accused of “lack of candor.” That is not true. I did not knowinglymislead or lie to investigators.

Just like his heroes the Clintons: “I did not knowingly know what I doingly did, not ever, not one time.”

See– I lacked intent. Ask my good friend James Comey about that.

When asked about contacts with a reporter that were fully within my power to authorize as deputy director, and amid the chaos that surrounded me, I answered questions as completely and accurately as I could.

But, alas, the most complete and accurate answers were, through no fault of my own, lies.

And when I realized that some of my answers were not fully accurate or may have been misunderstood, I took the initiative to correct them.

I’m gonna go out on a limb and guess you “took the initiative to correct them” a little bit after you caught wind you were being investigated for these false answers.

General Michael Flynn, after 33 years in the military, confessed to lying to the FBI when, in reality, he didn’t, to stop Mueller from pursuing his son in order to get a skin to hang on his wall. Flynn did nothing wrong… NOTHING. Even the FBI admitted he didn’t lie. But still, there he is: fired, disgraced, bankrupted by trying to defend himself.

I’m still waiting for the left to show General Flynn some mercy. Someone wake me if that happens.

Wth 11 mllion in the bank and your expensive fleet of autos a couple of mansions, you will be ok, if you need extra cash call CNN you can be an analyst, they love confused liars.

@kitt: Sounds like McCabe is ready to rat on Comey, Mueller and friends. Collusion with Andy was the subject of many emails!

@kitt: To paraphrase Obama, at some point, haven’t you made enough money covering for Hillary and keeping her out of jail?

But I Was Confused…

Isn’t that how Mike Flynn lost his house?

@FretlessT: That’s difficult to say, since two Trump-haters in the FBI both said General Flynn never lied to the FBI.
