Los Angeles, CA (AP) — The city of Los Angeles is weighing a lawsuit against Occupy LA protesters to recoup financial damages sustained during the two-month encampment.

William Carter, chief deputy for city attorney Carmen Trutanich, tells the Los Angeles Times the city is “contemplating any and all of its options.”

A report released Friday estimated the encampment on the City Hall lawn cost the budget-strapped city at least $2.3 million not including the cost to restore the lawn to its original condition.

Police broke up the camp last month and arrested nearly 300 people. An estimated $1.6 million was spent on police overtime.

The city of Los Angeles should demand the resignation of the Mayor and all of the counsel members who supported these nitwits and allowed this filth and sore to fester. If you give a nitwit a can of spray paint and tell them to express themselves and they paint f— Y— on your city walls, why are you surprised?

@buffalobob#1 I agree. If the Occupy [LA and elsewhere] are a bunch of nitwits, then those [in politically high places] who allow this type of destructive, moronic behavior must be even “BIGGER” nitwits….LOL

Time for all this Occupy temper tantrum(s) to end…and yes, sue for damages, then make them fork over all the “donations” each and every ‘occupy’ received then redistribute it… LOL
