It’s an important lesson to remember when you’re sitting down in front of a microphone: Your mic is always on.

So when a reporter asks about Wisconsin’s Frank Kaminsky and you’re Andrew Harrison and you just lost a tough, hard-fought game and the dorkiest looking guy in Indianapolis dominated all night, it’s probably best not to say, “F— that n—-.”

Harrison has apologized.

Trayvon Martin’s death and George Zimmerman’s trial taught us (white folks) a great deal about the n-word.
Rachel Chantel (sp?) explained it to us.
She started with the caveat that, ”I smart.”
Then she explained the difference between a black using the n-word ending with an “r” VS ending with an “a.”
Apparently it’s OK for blacks to use either version.
Whites can’t use either version.
If it ends with an “r” it is more negative but if it ends with an “a” it is affectionately used.
Get it?
So, was Andrew Harrison calling that white player an n-word affectionately ending the word with an “a,” or was he being derogatory by ending the n-word with an “r?”
