Ohio Gov. John Kasich’s campaign unveiled a new Web video Tuesday targeting GOP rival Donald Trump.
The ad, titled “Trump’s dangerous rhetoric,” highlights the real estate mogul’s calls for increased surveillance and tracking of Muslim Americans and his vow to deport all undocumented immigrants.
The ad also features Col. Tom Moe, who served in the U.S. Air Force and was a POW in Vietnam, warning voters about Trump while headlines about the GOP front-runner’s controversial comments flash onscreen.
Moe says that voters who are not Muslims or Hispanics might ignore Trump’s statements.
“But think about this: If he keeps going and he actually becomes president, he might just get around to you,” Moe concludes. “And you better hope that there’s someone left to help you.”
