But we did learn something important, something we may not have been aware of before: some CNN talking heads actually know what a follow-up question is. At least, when interviewing a Republican.
I’ve had plantar fasciitis which, I was told, it one of the causes of bone spurs. Back then I did things like play softball and, I can tell you, the next day I was practically crippled. Imagine having bone spurs and doing a lot of marching, carrying 80 lbs of gear. It’s not exactly life threatening, but it is disqualifying. As long as the military can get people without bone spurs, they won’t take those that have bone spurs. Like Vance said, Trump didn’t make excuses or lie about it, like others.
The fact that is being proven here is that unless it is something that can be used as a political prop, Democrats do not care about the military, military service, sacrifice, dedication or valor. Vance served honorably in a combat zone and they don’t hesitate to attack and lie about HIS service. Walz was even one of those who joined in on the “General Betray Us” chorus.
As of this morning, Wikipedia still says Walz is a Command Sergeant Major.
If they are smart, they will fix this lie pretty quick.

He did visit the ME as an elected official AFTER quitting his Nat’l Guard service.

Not to denigrate the National Guard, it should be noted that he didn’t spend 24 years on active duty. They do periodic training to stay prepared to be deployed when necessary. However, if he had other redeeming qualities, there was no need for him to lie about his rank or deployments.
