Welcome to the return of the Biden Campaign Collapse Tracker, which took off a couple of days while we all basked in the glow of Donald Trump giving a Pennsylvania crowd multiple fist-pumps after a would-be assassin’s bullet nearly killed him.
It appeared as though the Democrat Civil War of 2024 had ended in an unsatisfactory (for them; I’m loving it) stalemate with a critically wounded Presidentish Joe Biden still atop the ticket. But now comes word that the fighting has quietly begun again.
Biden fired the first shot — randomly, wildly, angrily, and completely off-target.
Axios reported late Tuesday that a House Democrat — who asked to remain anonymous for obvious reasons — told the paper’s Andrew Solender and Alex Thompson that Democrat congresscritters are “back to being angry at Biden and a push to sign on to this letter is going around … the ‘replace Biden’ movement is back.”
Good luck with that, fellas, even though I earnestly hope you’re stuck to election days and beyond with that shuffling trainwreck you foisted on your party and then the nation in 2020. And since the DNC is moving to deliver the official nomination to Biden (more on that below) even before the Chicago convention in August and the Reality Distortion Field the White House keeps Biden inside, you are almost certainly stuck with him, indeed.
But the juicy part is that it was yet another Biden temper tantrum that brought the ‘replace Biden’ movement back during another one of his ill-tempered appearances. This one was on a Zoom call with the very same Capitol Hill Democrats Biden was supposed to be reassuring.
Clearly agitated, Biden went on an angry tirade against Rep. Jason Crow (D-Colo.), a decorated retired Army Ranger.

My old blogging friend Lorie Byrd quipped, “If this is real, Biden has seriously lost it. I mean even worse than we already knew he lost it.”
Biden has no idea how he looks or how he sounds, and at least one report indicates that Congressional Democrats believe his inner circle — which no longer even includes any cabinet members — is hiding or cherry-picking polls from him.
Wow. He even lies to people that he KNOWS knows better.
I’ll be happy when they are stuck with him, it has not happened yet.

I find it interesting that suddenly after a failed assassination attempt on biden’s political opponent, he upon having said he would quit the race if doctors told him he had a medical condition; poof he has covid. Remind me again how many booster shots he has had.

Putting on a thin tin foil hat, had the assassination attempt been successful, the path to victory for the democrats might have been a bit easier. Now, they have created an insurmountable foe that understandably is much stronger than the weak debater of June 27.
I look for him to drop out of the race because jill will not forfeit her last remaining months as flotus. However, there are calls for him to resign and perhaps he might so as to give a larger stage to kamala. kamala will be the democrat nominee should joe drop out/resign.
And then there is this final caveat, a president harris could give full pardons to the biden crime family, all of them. They might even add the 51 signers of the Russian disinformation letter about the laptop. democrats at this point understand a second Trump Presidency could put them in the political wilderness for decades.
When biden is on camera, you see that it is jill biden who directs his glance, his words, his movement; in those thousand Presidential decisions a day, is she also directing his pen? If not she, then who?
It is not a trivial question.
Whoever is actually running America, it is clear that Mrs Biden does not wish to leave the Oval Office or the White House.
She and her husband, certainly her son, are all at risk of investigation, or worse, under a new Trump administration. She, more than anyone who is fully sentient in her family, needs President Trump to go away.
So in my calculus, President Trump’s rival is not the impaired President Biden.
It is the First Lady.” …….
I don’t know…. I think the LAST thing Democrats want is Kamala actually BEING President before the election. Why confirm how incompetent she is? I am coming to believe that Democrats have ceded the Presidency to Trump; they just want to preserve their House and Senate strength to be able to deny him carrying out his agenda.
May be the last thing but all the donations fund can only be used foe her and Joe. They wont get a war chest built up for anyone else.
Agreed and to JPB’s point, the more they can shield kamala from her own stupidity would be to have her just replace joe as the nominee. Enter jill in her role as Edith Wilson circa 1917.
Also, those who have been pulling the strings for 3 1/2 years may not have things the way they would want them to be as a result of a resignation.
Possibly. There is thought though that down ticket is going to be helped by on the fencers(republicans) and potential crossovers. We shall see.
Trump will win, after Reagan was shot, he took 49 of 50 states, Minnesota go figure.
Lost by something like 2000 or more votes. I look for on the fencers moderates and center left republicans to move toward Trump.
Even if the democrats do a 2020 part deux, no one other than biden winning will be remotely believable. And quite frankly after the debate and the failure at his big boy press conference, the believability of biden winning will be hard to believe.
There is a core democrat base that would not abandon democrats even if satan appeared and claimed ownership of democrats.
And ain’t it great to know that the left would be just fine with Trump adding more Justices to the Court?
