It Sure Looks Like Hunter Biden and the DOJ Were Trying to Pull a Fast One on the Judge During Plea Hearing

As RedState reported, the judge handling Hunter Biden’s plea agreement threw a wrench in the process on Wednesday morning after it became apparent that there were issues with the sweetheart deal.

That revelation came after a night of controversy when someone representing Hunter Biden’s legal team called the court to get an amicus brief removed from the docket. The clerk’s notes indicated some subterfuge was afoot, but after the judge demanded an explanation, Hunter Biden’s lawyers submitted a letter asserting it was a misunderstanding.

As the actual hearing began, the judge was immediately skeptical of what the DOJ and Hunter Biden’s team had worked out. Hunter Biden’s lawyers have proclaimed for weeks that their acceptance of the plea deal brings an end to the five-year investigation into the president’s son, forgoing any further charges. Meanwhile, the DOJ has said publicly that the investigation into Hunter Biden is ongoing.

That led the judge to question whether she would be providing global immunity by allowing the deal to go through. Once she pressed the prosecution, things fell apart

NYTimes Reporter Glenn Thrush reporting from the courtroom: Hunter Biden’s lawyers repeatedly cast the deal as the final chapter of the five-year inquiry into the president’s son. But Judge Noreika quickly punctured that assertion when she asked a prosecutor, Leo Wise, if the Biden investigation was “ongoing.” He replied “yes,” adding that if Biden’s team thought otherwise, “then there’s no deal.” No plea deal should be so ambiguous that the parties disagree about the basic terms. What a farce!

Again from NYT’s Glenn Thrush reporting from the courtroom: “From the start, the judge seemed highly skeptical of the unusual deal — which offered Hunter Biden broad immunity from prosecution in perpetuity, questioning why it had been filed under a provision that gave her no legal authority to reject it. When she asked Leo Wise, a prosecutor, if there was any precedent for the kind of deal being proposed, he replied, ‘No, your honor.’”

Plea deals are normally structured to have the defendant plead guilty to certain crimes in exchange for not being charged with other crimes. What other crimes were in the plea deal as being taken off the table? We don’t know the answer to that, but the judge seemed completely unimpressed with what the two sides had brought her. Further, when asked by the judge if such a deal had any precedent, the prosecutor was forced to admit that there was none.

As mentioned by Glenn Thrush’s reporting above, the deal was attempting to give Hunter Biden broad immunity into perpetuity from future crimes. That led the judge to ask whether the investigation was still ongoing, at which point the DOJ admitted it was. That put the two sides at a technical impasse, and one the judge wasn’t willing to overlook.

Zooming out, it appears that Hunter Biden’s team was intent on getting it on the record that by signing the plea, all investigations into Hunter Biden (and by virtue, possible future charges related to them) would be ended. Meanwhile, the DOJ seemed happy to let that happen until the judge threw up a roadblock.

That begs the question of why the DOJ didn’t speak up to fix the inconsistency prior to the hearing if this was really just a misunderstanding. As I noted above, Hunter Biden’s lead lawyer stated publicly multiple times that the plea deal meant all other charges would be off the table. Why didn’t the DOJ immediately move to clarify that point in the plea deal if that wasn’t their intention?

One would be forgiven for suspecting corruption, especially given the protection from oversight that is provided by technically keeping the Hunter Biden investigation open. It appears that the DOJ wanted to let Hunter Biden off the hook while also keeping their wall up between them and Congress. Thankfully, the judge saw through the ploy.

And what would a trial of Hunter prosecuted by this corrupt DOJ look like?

Prosecutor: Mr. Biden, have you committed any crimes at any time?

Hunter: (sniff… sniff) Uh, no. I have never committed any crimes. Ever.

Prosecutor: Well, I’m stumped. I rest my case.

Judge Sets ‘Conditions of Release’ For Hunter Biden – Orders Him to Get a Job, Submit to Drug Testing – READ THE FULL LIST HERE

Could not happen to a bigger scumbag

Attacking Biden’s remaining son because the GOP’s mob leader is about to be indicted for a third time is pathetic. But then they’ve also gone after his daughter, haven’t they?

Are you saying that Hunter didn’t lie and cheat on his taxes and didn’t lie on a federal firearms background check? Aren’t those federal crimes?

His fraudulent responses on the form 4473 can not be immunized.

Fine. His penalty should become a sentencing precedent for everyone else who does so. I assume you agree.

Hunter responded “no” to a question on the transaction record that asks, “Are you an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance?

06/09/22 – Few Prosecutions For Lying On ATF Gun-Purchase Form

…The odds of being charged for lying on the form are virtually nonexistent. In the 2019 fiscal year, when Hunter Biden purchased his gun, federal prosecutors received 478 referrals for lying on Form 4473 — and filed just 298 cases. The numbers were roughly similar for fiscal 2020…

If he weren’t the President’s son, you wouldn’t give a rat’s ass. You would, in fact, argue that the 4473 is an infringement on Second Amendment rights.

So, background checks are worthless. Right?

They dont enforce the laws on the books but want new ones.

If Hunter does not comply with any part of the judge’s order, he can be arrested.

HUNTER IS REQUIRED TO:

1) NOT possess a firearm
2) NOT use or possess any controlled substances (including marijuana) unless prescribed
3) Submit to full federal supervision
4) NO use of alcohol AT ALL
5) Seek active employment
6) Submit to testing for prohibited substances
7) Participate in substance abuse therapy

PENALTIES FOR VIOLATING COULD INCLUDE:

1) Immediate issuance of an arrest warrant
2) Revocation of release
3) Forfeiture of bond
4) Prosecution for contempt of court

The whore chasing crack cocaine addict aka hunter biden, plead not guilty. He is guilty as sin.

Kudos to the judge for peeling back the layers by asking a couple of questions and blowing up the entire fiasco.

You need to develop a higher tolerance for truth. A lot of it will be coming out during Trump’s Jan. 6 trial.

You need to develop a higher tolerance for truth. A lot of it will be coming out during Trump’s Jan. 6 trial.

HEY! STUPID! This is not about the January 6th Democrat/Capital Police/FBI/Pelosi riot. This is about Democrats feeling they can trample any and all laws and expect to just walk away from any accountability. Stop trying to always divert attention away from the corruption of your ideology.

It’s all about the GOP’s need to provide continuous distraction from what their 2024 nominee is. Lots of luck with that impossible project.

It’s about cleaning the shit out of the White House. Democrats are corrupt.

The entire biden family is a pile of shit.

DOJ Plea Deal With Hunter Biden Falls Apart as Federal Judge Infers DOJ Motive to Structure Immunity for Future Charges as DOJ Admits Ongoing Investigation

There was a lot going on in the Delaware federal court today. One of the topline issues was an admission by federal prosecutors that an additional investigation of Hunter Biden is ongoing, as the tax evasion and federal gun charge deal was brokered.

At the core, we see U.S. District Court Judge Maryellen Noreika noting the terms of the current DOJ plea deal appeared structured to provide immunity to Hunter Biden for any future crimes identified in the ongoing investigation on other matters; so, Noreika asked the DOJ directly. In essence, Judge Noreika called out the DOJ and directly asked them if this was their intent.

When Judge Noreika questioned the prosecution about this immunity implication, the US attorneys said future immunity was not part of this agreement. At that point the Hunter Biden defense team then acted surprised, saying if this is the accurate position of the DOJ then any plea deal is “null and void.”

07/26/23 – Trump Asks Congress for Help: ‘They Keep Coming After Me’
You’re a billionaire with judges you appointed, media propagandists on speed-dial, and all the attorneys that money can buy—yet you’re openly calling on Congress to overstep its constitutional authority and suppress the workings of the Judicial Branch and criminal justice system?

“It will be their updated form of rigging our most important election,” Trump says in the video. “Look at the polls, they can’t beat me. The only way they can win is to cheat.”

Were the DOJ not corrupted by Democrats, Trump would be facing no charges. They are all politically motivated and due to the gutless cowardice of Democrats afraid to face Trump in an honest election.

State courts aren’t under the jurisdiction of the DoJ. The Georgia criminal election tampering investigation is a state case; the Manhattan criminal case revolving around hush money payments to a porn star is a state case; the Manhattan defamation case is state level: the New York fraud case is a state case; the Michigan and Arizona phony electors investigations are state level.

The classified documents charges are federal, and the January 6 Special Counsel investigation is federal.

Were the DOJ not corrupted by Democrats…

While the DOJ is but one (the worst) case, everywhere Democrats infect the justice system, they corrupt it. Making a case out of Trump asking for audits to find the votes needed to make the 2020 election less fraudulent is not a crime. A non-disclosure agreement is not a crime. Trump having documents he declassified is not a crime. Prosecuting those clearly indicates gross corruption of the justice system. as does the futile attempt to give Hunter a full and total pass on his extensive list of crimes.

Idiot Biden is, of course, a corrupt criminal of the lowest order. Absolute scum.

Your infected c*nt of a cult leader has corrupted the entire republican party and the minds of his followers, who have lost anything they ever had in the way of expectations of genuine moral leadership.

Trump drags everything down to his level.

Trump took no bribes from Burisma. Trump took no money from China. Trump never forced his young daughter to shower with him. Trump doesn’t have to corrupt the DOJ to protect his corrupt, criminal son. Trump is competent, coherent and mentally stable.

Idiot Biden is total trash, as is his entire family. Unless CPS takes them away, even the children will be raised a scumbags, just like the rest of the family.

Really? Which Trump son wrote off hookers on their taxes, boi?

Hunter Biden has never held public office. How did Donald hide his $130K payment to a porn star?

Meanwhile, back in “reality”, Whistleblower tells Congress the US is concealing ‘multi-decade’ program that captures UFOs

“I was informed in the course of my official duties of a multi-decade UAP crash retrieval and reverse engineering program to which I was denied access.”

Hey, if you want proof, what could be more convincing than the fact that all evidence is hidden?

Hunter Biden has never held public office.

It that your benchmark for saying Hunter Biden is above the law? If he has never held public office, why is he getting 8 Secret Service agents to protect his drug addled ass?
(careful Comrade Greggie, I already know the answer)

No, that’s me saying republicans seek his crucifixion because he’s the son of Trump’s political adversary. Hunter Biden’s penalty for his crimes should be the same as anyone else convicted or pleading guilty to the same offenses.

The same goes for Donald Trump, count by count. NOBODY is above the law.

No, that’s me saying republicans seek his crucifixion because he’s the son of Trump’s political adversary.

Yeah, because Trump has so much influence in the DOJ, right?

Hunter Biden’s penalty for his crimes should be the same as anyone else convicted or pleading guilty to the same offenses.

Oh, would EVERY citizen be allowed to take a plea deal and get off Scott-free for evading taxes on tens of millions of dollars? You actually think that’s how it works? Plus you never answered if it is just SOP to ignore lying on the federal firearms background checks, what good are they? You and the rest of the stupid, whining left have claimed background checks are a NECESSITY… but if everyone can just lie on them, what purpose would they serve?

Wipe the drool boi.
How did Donald hide his $130K payment to a porn star?
Not to good as you know about it
The space ships cummon people know about this and have for many years. Ever hear of Bob Lazar?
Yo need to give up MSM and listen to late night radio.
Did you see China Mich’s brain chip fail today, they had to take him away and reboot the old RINO.

Sure. Lazar was on the Art Bell show for years. An entertaining guest. I also enjoyed ET, Close Encounters, and like a good ghost story.

It was George Knapp, same show but not with the late great Art Bell.
Have years of Coast podcasts, have you heard the Mels Hole one, lol.

Art had some very interesting guests.

Years of interesting guests, and more than few nutballs.

Note how desperately Greg tries to change the subject from irrefutable proof of idiot Biden’s corruption to ANYTHING else? Obviously, his handlers haven’t come up with what they hope will be an effective counter-argument for him to use, so he has to cloud the corruption issue with “flying saucers”.

Want proof of space aliens? Look at Pelosi.

Pay serious attention to alternative news this week when this large of a distraction is needed. They are even chattering captured Aliens(cue war of the worlds alien spaceship noises)
I know when it comes to Democrats, “To Serve Man” is a f’n cookbook.

I believe UFO’s are real. I’m not sure how much material we have, I’m not too sure. I don’t see a lot of evidence of reverse-engineering of alien technology violates our laws of physics.

What isn’t a mystery is idiot Biden’s crimes and corruption vis a vie using the DOJ as Hunter’s law firm or the FBI to retrieve lost diaries with records of pedophilia and acting as idiot Biden’s Praetorian Guard.

Never seen one, but this could be an end to civilization

Is that alien technology?

Or some of the subjects he won’t even weigh in on because there IS no defense. Still awaiting the answer to what good background checks are if lying on them is OK. Stay tuned…. I’m sure it’s forthcoming.

Hunter Biden has never held public office. How did Donald hide his $130K payment to a porn star?

Hunter has peddled daddy’s influence, made millions off it and didn’t pay taxes on the money he scammed. F**K Trump’s NDA; this is about national security and a totally, 100% compromised idiot Biden.

Shitbag idiot Biden wants 87,000 IRS agents to squeeze every possible dime out of hard working middle class citizens while he directs his DOJ to get Hunter cleared of cheating on HIS taxes. Both idiot Biden and Hunter need to be locked up with the horniest gay rapist there is for a daily dose of what they’ve been doing to this country.

It is not a crime to make a nuisance payment to a nuisance.

Basically bidens corrupt DOJ was doing a wink wink, nod nod with hopes that the judge would accept the plea arrangement. The judge asked a couple of questions that revealed the plea deal was a lifetime get out of jail card.
Even a democrat judge appointed by the two democrat senators of Delaware can see when the scales of justice are completely unbalanced.

A good take by Jay Sekulow

I hope Judge Maryellen Noreika has no plans to go paddle boarding any where soon!

That led the judge to question whether she would be providing global immunity by allowing the deal to go through. Once she pressed the prosecution, things fell apart

This is the case with everything the Democrats do. Just a little investigation, a few questions and the thin veneer of legitimacy (if there even is one) is dissolved. Since Democrats don’t fear accountability, they waste little time and effort hiding their corruption.

No doubt this hearing was supposed to have the character of the trials of the J6 defendants or that of Clinesmith, who fabricated evidence to justify FISA warrants. It was supposed to be another episode where due process and the law was trampled and pissed on. But THIS judge didn’t play along. She asked a few questions and it was rapidly exposed that this was just a formality to give idiot Biden’s crack head, whore-mongering, influence peddling son, Hunter, a total and complete pass on ALL crimes, known and unknown.

Doesn’t this kind of indicate there may be a lot MORE crimes and corruption out there that we are as yet unaware of?
