They make them fight. Of course it’s not surprising or new that they’ve also tortured and executed those who have not yet reached adulthood.
This execution is for failure to fast, although according to other Islamic practitioners, it’s not a requirement for children. It’s an Islamist radical jihadi militant extremist thing:
Two children have reportedly been “crucified” by Isis for not fasting during the holy month of Ramadan.
The boys, believed to be under the age of 18, were killed in Syria and their bodies displayed with placards hung around their necks announcing their “crime”.
Fasting is not a requirement for NON-Muslims, either, but in Malaysia NON-Muslim children are being told to ”drink their urine” if they get hungry or thirsty during school hours …. rather than tempt the Muslim children (and teachers.)
The Apostle Paul wrote to a congregation in Corinth that had issues with who was the best Christian, once-Jews or never-Jews?
He wrote:
Muslims take delight in going beyond what is written.
Being (or seeming to be) holier-than-thou is the name of their game.
@Nanny G:
Or it could just be a lot of fun to torture and kill people at will.
@Bill:
That’s also a great way to recruit sadists and keep ”order” over the meeker Muslims.
BTW, did you see where the NYTimes actually is seeing a silver lining in ISIS?
Yup.
They have brought jobs, security (not the kind anyone at the NYTimes would like) and propped up some semblance of an infrastructure including schools and hospitals.

@Nanny G:
Hitler was doing a great job in Germany (Time Man Of The Year) right up until he murdered 6 million Jews and caused 65 million war dead. Oh, well… I guess you take the good with the bad?
@Bill:
Yikes you just reminded me how the media in Italy gushed that Mussolini got the trains to run on time.
But look what the Italian people did to him and his mistress as soon as they got the chance: strung them up!
In this April 29, 1945 file photo, the dead bodies of Benito Mussolini, left, and his mistress Claretta Petacci hang from the roof at the Piazzale Loreto.
They are a sickness in this world. It’s not a Syrian, Iraqi, or Middle Eastern problem. This is a world problem.
