Sad:

ISIS has reportedly beheaded an 82-year-old antiquities scholar in Syria’s ancient city of Palmyra, the country’s antiquities chief said Tuesday. Militants hung Khaled Asaad’s body on a column in the city’s historic main square, said Syrian state antiquities chief Maamoun Abdulkarim. Asaad served as the head of antiquities in Palmyra for more than 50 years and worked with U.S., French, German and Swiss archaelogists on research on Palmyra’s 2,000-year-old ruins. He was detained and interrogated for more than a month by the militants, Abdulkarim said. ISIS militants seized control of Palmyra from government forces in May, raising fears of the destruction of the Roman-era structures.

No one is safe from ISIS, al Qaeda, the Taliban, all the Muslim Brotherhood variants, the Iranian mullahs and so many other so-called lone wolves.
Sure, Sharia is a real thing.
But it is also a great excuse for killing whomsoever you wish on a whim.
Sharia has never been the basis for any other type of state but a failed state.
Even the richest oil-rich Sharia states are failing…..in slo-mo.
It really does boil down to: do we fight them over there?, or, do we wait a few months or years and fight them over here?

I’m trying to figure out the difference between ISIS/Islam and Communists/Socialists/Democrats. They BOTH want to distort history to suit their own purposes, they both are willing to do whatever it takes to rule and inevitably fail. Ok, so one whacks off heads and the other makes sure that Granny doesn’t have electricity during the winter and freezes. So, just what is the difference?
