Whites even had to fetch black students things, like a power charger or a bottle of water, when a black student needed us.

Police departments need to purge the bad actors that tarnish the badges of every good cop on the force. They know they’re there. Police unions need to be more selective about who they defend. They owe it to the majority who do good work under difficult conditions. Nothing is worse for good cops than defective people with uniforms and badges.
