Members of other Black Lives Matter chapters have confronted several other candidates. Those encounters went much differently than the organized meeting with Clinton. Last weekend, members of the Seattle chapter stormed the stage at a Bernie Sanders campaign event, forcing the Vermont U.S. senator to leave.
In her encounter with the activists, Clinton was more forceful. While she indicated she supported the group’s overall efforts, she criticized some of its strategy.
“The consciousness-raising, the advocacy, the passion, the youth of your movement is so critical, but now all I’m suggesting is, even for us sinners, find some common ground on agendas that can make a difference right here and now in people’s lives,” Clinton said.

And over at Breitbart, this:
Worst Moments from the Hillary ‘Black Lives Matter’ Meeting
1. Hillary nodding and saying “Mmm-hmm” when the guy talking to her says that the prison system is like the old plantation system.
2. The Hillary staffer who interrupts the conversation, forcing the guy to talk about how far he and his fellow protesters drove to be there.
“Yeah, we’re not stopping you,” says the Hillary staffer. “You’ve got a couple more minutes. We’ve still got more people waiting in the overflow room.”
3. When Hillary first says the word “black.” I don’t think she understands that it’s not an offensive term.
“I have spent most of my adult life focused on kids….particularly poor kids, particularly, you know, black kids and Hispanic kids…”
Catch the rest and the video. Priceless. All that was missing was her black accent. The media should blast her for this, but they won’t.
If “black lives matter” so much to the black community (and these protest groups), why are they not protesting about fellow blacks who kill far greater numbers of their race than police officer shootings have? Why don’t more blacks in these communities join the police force so that their race is better represented on the force?
I saw Hillary’s staffer interrupting so as to give Hillary time to ”fight or flight.”
She chose to fight.
Her tactic was to turn the onus back on the BLM members and off herself.
She compared their push negatively with that of the civil rights’ movement, the gay marriage movement and the feminists/abortionists’ movement in that the latter three had agendas and offered options in the way of legislations and court challenges while the BLM’ers are just making a lot of noise with no clear direction.
That took the responsibility for the success of BLM off people like the President (either her or Obama) and onto these BLM leaders.
Great.
Let a BLM’er put together a position paper and sign it then we all be able to see how he was financed/led by George Soros.
