In just about 24 hours, Mitt Romney is headed to a hotel ballroom to give a speech sponsored by Americans for Prosperity, a front group founded and funded by the Koch brothers.
Those are the same Koch brothers whose business model is to make millions by jacking up prices at the pump, and who bankrolled Tea Party extremism, and committed $200 million to try to destroy President Obama before Election Day.
Yeah. It’s not Obama; it’s the fault of those evil Koch brothers.

Isn’t it amazing how the Republicans can’t see to touch Obama on ANYTHING.
These high gases prices have every FUMING, yet the dummies don’t have the slightest idea of how to make political hay out of it.

Anybody else seeing those sticky notes on their local gas pumps?
The ones I saw said stuff like, ”Thanks, Barack.”
Sometimes a real grassroots action is better than a thousand stump speeches.
From a fundraising appeal from Barack Obama’s campaign manager:
Those are the same Koch brothers whose business model is to make millions by jacking up prices at the pump….
John H.’s response:
Even President Obama, with his limited understanding of economics, must know how dumb this is. Koch Industries pays the market price for crude oil,
refines it,
and sells it at the market price.
The idea that Koch somehow has the power to “make millions by jacking up prices at the pump” could only be believed by the very ignorant.
And, by the way–didn’t Obama just tell us yesterday that skyrocketing gas prices are the result of turmoil in the Middle East, and therefore beyond our control?
But ”very ignorant” defines Obama’s main support.
And proof is that they can hang on his every word, but still forget what he said just the day before when he says the opposite the next day!

Like Ivan…I have just about given up on the Republicans ever getting a clue. Why they are not calling press conferences and denouncing the double-standard by the Dems and their media is beyond me. I know I said this on another thread…..but does anyone have an idea about what is going on here?
Can the GOP REALLY be this stupid? The only thing I can figure out is that they are saving their amno for the general election…..but it the meantime they look clueless.

Forget them. The sooner you accept reality-they really aren’t a true opposition party, the sooner you’ll realize how screwed up this nation is.
One would have to be in denial to think the Republicans represent true change.

@Ivan: I hope all staunch, constitutional conservatives take this opportunity to respond to tel-canvassers with an emphatic: “No thanks.” Not until the GOP grows some courage (testicles for most) and represents US. I then thank the canvasser for their efforts (they are just hard working stiffs like us) and ask them to relay my comments to their handlers and supervisors: the RINO beltway class.

Just found a bit of response from John Hinderaker at Powerline:

@Marine72:
Been there, done that. It’s a waste of time.
