Speaking to Vice after forging an unlikely alliance with Clive Palmer, the former US vice-president said “silly” initiatives like the government’s direct action plan had “never worked anywhere.” […]
Mr Gore also said Mr Abbott — a “straight-out climate denier” — would soon find himself on the wrong side of history.
“I think we’re not far from a point where people will look back on climate denialists as extremely odd, self destructive,” he said.

Al Gore praised coal baron Clive Palmer as a planet-saver….strange bedfellow, that.
Strip the green tinsel from his press conference and Palmer was in fact saying his senators would vote for a $6 million cut to his taxes.
That’s about how much the carbon tax costs his nickel refinery each year.
Al’s savings are probably nearly the same…..

But the Government resents the RET for costing the average household around $56 a year by 2020 — money that goes to green carpetbaggers [read: Al Gore] without doing any good to the climate.
Can you imagine getting $56 from every household in a country?
Only Al Gore could scrap all his principles to keep the money rolling in.
Gore apparently needs to have his chakra released more often.
When AGW fanatics can plausibly explain how CO2 levels in the atmosphere – which their GI/GO computer models insist is THE cause of global warming – are continuing to rise but global temps have fallen since 1997, then maybe they would have a scintilla of scientific credibility.
Unlike leftwing gasbags, science is not based on fudging numbers and overwrought Chicken Little propaganda.
Ya gotta love it when one of the biggest carbon footprints on the planet has the nerve to tell the rest of us to reduce our own C footprints…
Yet, the only verifiable negative effect of “climate change” is that our government continues to use this natural occurrence as an excuse for robbing us of our wealth and freedoms. Just think about it… any change in the weather = an excuse to tax, fine, and further control we the people.
Meanwhile, this same government continues to allow millions of pollution and carbon footprint creating illegal immigrants to flood into the country (or what remains of it).
As more evidence mounts AGAINST man’s effect on global warming, the warmists become more shrill and panic-stricken as their opportunity at grasping control over trillions of dollars begins to slip away. Algore is but one example.
It always perplexed me why he would buy a $9 million mansion directly in the path of the rising ocean. Why, it’s as if he doesn’t believe his own snake oil blather.
