Former President George W. Bush cancelled a speech in Switzerland after “human rights” groups threatened to have him arrested. Left-wing groups are upset with how Gitmo detainees were treated under his watch.
Of course, these same far left groups could care less how Obama treats these same Gitmo terrorists.
(Obrag)The Daily Mail reported:
Former U.S. President George W. Bush has cancelled a visit to Switzerland over fears he could have been arrested on torture charges.
Mr Bush was due to be the keynote speaker at a Jewish charity gala in Geneva on February 12.
But pressure has been building on the Swiss government to arrest him and open a criminal investigation if he enters the country.
Screw the Swiss. Bush’s Secret Service could probably whip em all.
How the mighty have fallen! Being european I remember switzerland tobe neutral in all things; they donot even have a military. It’s a beautiful country; the scenery is pic like, the food is good, the people very hospitable and friendly towards americans. Threats of this kind were unheard of; I’m glad I’m no longer part of europe, happy and greatful being able to live here in the USA.
I’m confused… this happened back in February. Why is Gateway Pundit only now getting around to it??
