Many people have noted the bizarre number of former Obama Administration DOJ, FBI and Intelligence Community officials who have gone to work within the U.S. media apparatus in order to protect their interests.
Former CIA Director John Brennan now working for NBC; former DNI James Clapper now working for CNN; former FBI Chief Legal Counsel James Baker now working for Lawfare blog; former FBI Supervisory Special Agent Josh Campbell now working for CNN; former Obama adviser Ben Rhodes now working for MSNBC…. the list goes on. All motives transparently political.
Notably absent, the hiring of any actual journalists.
All of these pre-positioned forces are defensive in nature. All of their collective narrative constructs stem from a self-preservation instinct. The U.S. media has imploded onto itself and devolved into an Kafkaesque assembly political narrative engineers churning out fake news 24/7.
What we are now witnessing is something far beyond Prava and Baghdad Bob. What we now see is an even more severe distortion of media; an alternate reality created as if the Stasi and Tokyo Rose joined forces to take control of U.S. broadcasts.
If the head of the KGB was an analyst for Russia Today, people would laugh. The New York Times would continue pointing at the example as a reason never to believe the stories. Yet, identically, former CIA Director John Brennan is on TV daily and almost no-one gives it a second thought.

This is the difference between propaganda and news. They seem to be preparing for a report that they suspect isn’t going to support all of their bullshit assertions by trying to discredit it preemptively. There’s really no other explanation, since no one yet knows what the IG’s findings will be. The time it’s taking doesn’t actually suggest anything—other than thoroughness.

Much of what FOX broadcasts is opinion, not news—something that I am fully aware of. Their goal is not to inform; their goal is to manipulate public opinion. Which was what the content of post #57 demonstrates. A smart person would pick up on that. I assume you did. Hence, the insulting response.

There have been NUMEROUS articles posted and NUMEROUS discussions on them about the dishonesty of the corrupt liberal media. Yes, I can provide link after link after link of their dishonesty but since you won’t find MSNBC, CNN, ABC, CBS or NBC covering their own lies, you will, as you usually do and are right now, claim, “Oh, those guys… you can’t use THEM as a source.”
What I noticed about your list is that most of them are things Trump has promised which he simply hasn’t done in his year and a half of office. At the end of his 8 years, if he hasn’t delivered, THEN you can claim he lied, just as Obama lied about closing GITMO on his first day of office… last I checked, it was till up and running though he tried hard to simply release all the dangerous terrorists back into the fight just for the sheer pleasure of it. However, we are now dealing with the LIE that Trump colluded with the Russians, the LIE that Trump obstructed justice, the LIE that Obama did not spy on the Trump campaign, the LIE that Obama did not illegally wiretap Trump Towers, the LIE that the FBI and DOJ didn’t give Hillary preferential treatment to gloss over her crimes, the LIE the Hillary didn’t collude with the Russians and the LIE that the FBI didn’t use campaign lies paid for by Hillary to conduct wiretaps and surveillance on Trump.
Those are LIES. BIG LIES. And you wallow in them.
You don’t have the ability to judge since, to you, unless it is a left wing liberal propaganda outlet, they lie. Survey after survey and poll after poll puts Fox at the top as far as honest reporting… not that they beat out any tough competition.
