Something is very wrong when Joe Biden and his minions are angrier at Americans and Republican governors than they are at the Taliban.
Biden made that very clear yesterday when he attacked unvaccinated Americans, saying he was “losing patience” with them. Something he never actually said about the Taliban. Biden also falsely attacked Republican governors, suggesting they were anti-vaccination when they’re anti-mandates. He said, “If these governors won’t help us beat the pandemic, I’ll use my power as president to get them out of the way”
Meanwhile, at the same time the White House was describing the Taliban as “businesslike and professional.”
NSC spokesperson Emily Horne used the terminology while talking about a flight flying from Kabul to Qatar with Westerners, including Americans, on board.
“The Taliban have been cooperative in facilitating the departure of American citizens and lawful permanent residents on charter flights from HKIA. They have shown flexibility, and they have been businesslike and professional in our dealings with them in this effort. This is a positive first step,” Horne said.
Horne said this, even after the Taliban has been holding up Americans and Afghan allies from leaving for over a week in Mazar-i-Sharif. Hardly cooperative. Not to mention that whole beating and killing people thing they have going on. The Biden officials refused to say how many Americans were on the flight, and if it included any of the people held up in Mazar-iSharif. So once again, the Biden folks were playing this lack of transparency game.
Fox’s Peter Doocy bagged White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki on the issue, asking why were they speaking about the Taliban with such praise, especially when the Taliban has an FBI, “most wanted” terrorist as their new interior minister in their “interim government.”
“We promised we would get American citizens out, we promised we would get legal permanent residents out, we promised to get our Afghan partners out, and we promised to press the Taliban to get them out, and that’s exactly what we did,” she claimed. No, that isn’t what you did. You promised you wouldn’t leave them there, and you did. You promised you’d get everyone out and you didn’t; there are still Americans and thousands of Afghan allies. You took in many refugees who may have never helped the U.S. instead, leaving the people to whom we actually had an obligation.
“But you’re saying the Taliban is businesslike and professional. Their Interior Minister has an FBI wanted poster. He’s got a $10 million bounty on his head, that’s — what’s the business?” Doocy pushed.
“We are here to celebrate the return of American citizens who wanted to leave Afghanistan, of legal permanent residents, of Afghans who fought by our side to Qatar,” Psaki said. “In order to get those people out, we had to work with some members of the Taliban to press them and to work in a businesslike manner to get them out.”
Again, she didn’t actually answer the question. They haven’t answered the questions about the reports that the Taliban were demanding things from the U.S. to let people go in Mazar-i-Sharif. If you can’t even tell us the status of those Americans or what if anything you did with that “business” with the Taliban, that’s a problem.
Idiot Biden, due to his utter incompetence, is forced to talk nice and schmooze terrorists that hate him and us because this is his best chance of getting some of our citizens and allies out of the total disaster he has created. It is a really pathetic position for a United States President to be in and this idiot, not even really the president, put himself in this position.
