The tweets are running the asylum.

Twitter’s senior executives have a long history of anti-Trump hatred, a Post review of dozens of accounts of top employees found.

The venom, vitriol and, in some cases, vows to help Joe Biden across the finish line in next month’s presidential election continue to live online as the company earlier this week decided to censor The New York Post’s revelations about Hunter Biden’s emails to a consultant for the Ukrainian energy company Burisma.

“GET HIM OUT,” posted a senior site reliability engineer on Aug. 18. “What a f–king baboon.”

One manager with almost nine years on the job said he was quite keen to watch Biden “crush [Trump] in the election” and that he hoped the president would “be utterly humiliated while also suffering greatly from #COVID19.” In another post he fantasized about the president being put on a ventilator.

He calls Trump “a f–king idiot” and the voters who elected him — “hysterically f–king stupid people.”

At the same time the employee has been a consistent cheerleader of his company’s efforts to rein in the president on the platform and curb the spread of “misinformation.”

“I’m really proud of how quickly we’ve worked to make this possible for the US elections,” he wrote.

Others publicly wish the president harm.

One Twitter engineering manager said Trump should “die in a fire” in a January 2017 tweet. A year later, he rang in the new year by saying “Happy 2018! Donald Trump is dead!”

None of these comments have ever been flagged by Twitter or been subject to any other form of official sanction, even as the social-media giant dishes out discipline to others for sharing legitimate news stories that might hurt Biden. The company finally ordered the vicious tweet to be deleted on May 29 — years after being posted.

A consistent theme among employees is a desire to see Trump defeated.

@Greg: Wow, Greg. You can’t help but miss the point, can you? Yeah and convicted felon… convicted with Hunter’s associates. Of course, Hunter wasn’t charged and Devon Archer got his conviction overturned… for a little while. And, yes… MORE emails about DIFFERENT corruption.

Pointing to the tragedy China brought upon this country and which Biden has attempted to politicize doesn’t help your argument. Are there any Democrats that are NOT corrupt? You don’t ever seem to run them for office.

October 19, 2020 – New York Post reporters ‘refused to attach bylines to Biden piece after doubting its accuracy’ – Reporters at the paper say editors pressured them to put their bylines on the story

Reporters at The New York Post were reluctant to put their names on the bombshell story alleging corruption on the part of Democratic presidential hopeful Joe Biden over concerns that the information was inaccurate, it has been reported.

The New York Times reported that the story was primarily written by one staff member who refused to put their name on the piece. The Times’ information is attributed to two New York Post reporters who spoke on condition of anonymity over fears that the paper – owned by Fox News mogul Rupert Murdoch – would retaliate.

The reporter, Bruce Golding, told his editors he would not allow his name to be included on the story because he was concerned that the story was not credible.

The New York Post story is based on photos of documents that are alleged to appear on a copy of a laptop hard driver that allegedly belonged to Hunter Biden.

The article included two named sources; Donald Trump’s former political adviser Stephen Bannon, who is now facing federal fraud charges for his alleged role in stealing money from individuals who thought they were fundraising to build Mr Trump’s wall on the southern border, and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, who is among Mr Trump’s most dedicated allies.

The story included a third, unnamed source; a Trump-supporting computer repairman who initially copied the hard drives when he realised they belonged to Hunter Biden.

According to the New York Post reporters who spoke to The Times, many people in the newsroom were skeptical of the story and were not convinced the paper had enough evidence to confidently report the story. They questioned the timing of the story – weeks before the election, a perfect “October surprise” – and whether enough fact checking had been done on the details.

Mr Giuliani openly admitted he chose to leak the story to the New York Post because he knew other outlets would spend too much time fact checking the information.

“Either nobody else would take [the story], or if they took it, they would spend all the time they could to try to contradict it before they put it out,” Mr Giuliani said.

The story asserts that during Mr Biden’s tenure as vice president, he helped direct foreign policy decisions in Ukraine in a way that would help his son, Hunter Biden, who formerly sat on the board of Ukrainian energy company Burisma Holdings.

A Republican-led Senate committee that investigated Mr Biden’s involvement with Ukrainian officials found no wrongdoing had occurred.

The paper’s top editors allegedly pressured staff members to put their bylines on the story, but were unsuccessful in finding anyone willing to take responsibility. At least one other journalist other than Mr Golding refused to attach their name to the story.

Eventually, the story was published under the bylines of Emma-Jo Morris and Gabrielle Fonrouge.

The Times found that Ms Morris did not have a byline on the site prior to the publication of the Biden story. She is a deputy politics editor who formerly worked at Fox News.

The other reporter, Ms Fonrouge, apparently did not learn her name had been added to the story until after it was published. Reporters at the New York Post speaking to The Times said Ms Fonrouge had little to do with writing or reporting the story.

How pathetic is that? They had to attribute the story to somebody with no prior by-line, and to someone else without her permission.

A spokeswoman for the New York Post said the paper stands by the story.

“The story was vetted and The Post stands by its reporting,” she said.

The spokeswoman did not offer The Times a comment on how the story was written or edited.

@Deplorable Me, #51:

Pointing to the tragedy China brought upon this country and which Biden has attempted to politicize doesn’t help your argument.

China is not responsible for the Trump administration’s botched COVID-19 response, nor for the lies and disinformation that will make the currently building surge worse than it had to be.

@Greg: China is responsible. Trump botched nothing. Biden is corrupt. The NYT cannot be trusted in a story about Biden.

@Greg:

The New York Times reported that the story was primarily written by one staff member who refused to put their name on the piece.

Who needs the death threats or face violence the left so loves to dish.

@kitt: “New York Times reported” is liberal code for “here comes a massive lie”.

@Deplorable Me:

“here comes a massive lie”.

AKA The DNC line today is….

@Greg:

The story about the biden crime family is true. Make up any and all excuses you can. It will not change the truth.

@July 4th American: They should see what “Zoom Dick Toobin can dig up. Was he zooming Lemon?

@kitt:

Yeah, I think those are mostly coming from the lunatic fringe on the right, not the left.

The nice thing about the loose screws in my father’s ’53 Studebaker Commander was that they could be easily tightened back up with a phillip’s head screwdriver. He always kept one in the glove compartment.

@Greg:

Ah, that unnamed source. And then a name is dropped: Bevan Cooney, a convicted felon. So, what about him? Emails?

Yes, Comrade Greggie, emails. Emails from Hunter Biden and email chains involving Hunter Biden. You see, for ever sender, there is a recipient. For every email you send, someone has the email. Yes, he’s a convicted felon. Why wasn’t Hunter Biden, crack head and whore monger, also convicted along with Cooney and Archer?

Trump is attacking Dr. Fauchi. Idiots believe Trump, consequently Dr. Fauchi is regularly receiving death threats and his family members are being threatened and harassed.

Dr. Faux-Xi long ago ceased to be a scientist. Don’t believe me? Look at his record on the HIV/AIDS pandemic. Now Faux-Xi is whining that people don’t accept the “science” except the only science that Faux-Xi accepts is his own. He ridicules epidemiologists and virologists that are highly respected in their medical communities if they don’t agree with the God-like Faux-Xi. Death threats? I see that Jesse Jackson’s pathetic excuse for not having to answer serious questions still reigns supreme with you left wingers. If Faux-Xi, and family, are getting death threats, where is the confirmation of that from the FBI?

And of course, you still refuse to blame China for the Chi-Com flu, opting instead to blame Trump who was facing (according to Faux-Xi) 2 million deaths in the U.S. alone. Well Faux-Xi was wrong and used a bogus study to predict that 2 million number. Why do you refuse to blame China? End of paycheck?

@kitt: Don’t you mean what he can “whip” up?

@retire05:

Why do you refuse to blame China? End of paycheck?

Biden says not to.

@Deplorable Me: “Jeffrey Toobin has been suspended while we investigate the matter,” New Yorker spokeswoman Natalie Raabe said of the suspension.

Toobin also works as CNN’s chief legal analyst and will take time off from the role, a CNN spokesperson told the Washington Examiner.

“Jeff Toobin has asked for some time off while he deals with a personal issue, which we have granted,” the representative said.
Maybe mini Jeffy a caught cold.
These nuts cant figure out technology and we are suppose to listen to them? Mute video? lol

He was punching the clown while on a zoom call.

@kitt:

“Jeff Toobin has asked for some time off while he deals with a personal issue, which we have granted,” the representative said.

What for? Didn’t he finish? I guess there were so many lies being told, he just couldn’t control himself. He decided to simulate what CNN and the New Yorker were going to this country. I guess his legal expertise didn’t cover what might happen if he chokes his chicken in public.

@Deplorable Me: He will be the next one dropping off a laptop for a sticky keyboard. Ah I thought I could give it a bath now it wont boot up.
