Democrats: J6 Pardons Got You Mad? Let’s Flip the Script with a Portland Hypothetical

Call me Don Quixote, but I constantly try to reason with Democrats. I want to do so now regarding the January 6th pardons.

Ready Democrats?

OK, I get it. You are mad about the J6 pardons. You see that day as a violent insurrection. But the overwhelming majority of the people convicted that day did nothing more than walk in through an open door past smiling Capitol security guards, stay inside the velvet ropes, admire the paintings and statuary, and then leave and go home to Anytown, USA.

Grandmothers. Veterans. Small business owners. Retired LE. Teachers. Parents with small children.

Who were HOUNDED TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH, held without trial, eventually prosecuted, forced into plea deals and then imprisoned with preposterously vindictive sentences.

Now here is where I want to convince you, Democrats. Ready? To do so, I need to offer a hypothetical.

It starts with Antifa storming and burning the federal justice center building in Portland, Oregon, on July 21, 2020. (That’s not a hypothetical, that actually happened.)

Now imagine that same day, the Portland Alliance of LGBTQ+ Attorneys and Physicians (PAOLGBTQ+A&P) decided to hold a peaceful protest against Georgia Floyd’s death. The appointed meeting place was across the street from the soon-to-be-destroyed federal building.

At the appointed time, ~500 gay, lesbian and trans Oregonian attorneys and physicians assembled in Portland, knelt, and said a prayer to their pagan gods to protect the katra of Saint George Floyd. Upon finishing their plea to Gaia, they all looked up in amazement at the burning federal building, with many pumping his, her, their, those, xir, zir or other appropriate pronoun’s fist in the air, joyful at the way The Man was being made to pay.

CBS News and local security cameras captured the jubilation of the PAOLGBTQ+A&P, with identifying facial detail in most cases.

More than 4 years pass.

Then Donald Trump gets re-elected, and in January 2025 he and his rogue Justice Department/FBI round up every last member of the PAOLGBTQ+A&P (scouring the Earth to find them without regard to expense), drops them into a Gulag-style prison without a trial for months on end, then gradually prosecutes each member for various dubious offenses against property and the USA, offering them ridiculous plea deals where they must choose between months or years of imprisonment.

Lawyers. Physicians. Trans Lawyers. Lesbian physicians. Nonbinary physicians who are also lawyers. Patriarchs of polycules. Rich people. Other rich people. Loving Marxists. Parents of non-binary children. Normal folks, just like you and me.

Imprisoned, simply for peacefully expressing their deeply-held political beliefs at the wrong place and the wrong time. Everyone calls them the Portland 500, or “P500.”

Then, later, in January 2029, after President Gavin Newsom defeats Kid Rock in the 2028 Presidential election, President Newsom pardons all of the P500 because of the grave injustice they faced.

So the question for you, Democrat, is under such circumstances would you support President Newsom’s pardons?

Now realize these hypotheticals precisely match what happened to the J6 Hostages, and if you see the J6 Hostages as guilty but excuse the P500, you are a narcissistic, midwit tool.
