Mr. Houston is part of an internal debate at all levels of his party over how hard it should work to win over white men, especially working-class men without college degrees, at a time when Democrats are gaining support from growing numbers of female and minority voters.
It is a challenge that runs throughout the nation’s industrial heartland, in farm states and across the South, after a half-century of economic, demographic and cultural shifts that have reshaped the electorate. Even in places like Michigan, where it has been decades since union membership lists readily predicted Democratic votes, many in the party pay so little attention to white working-class men that it suggests they have effectively given up on converting them.
Not Mr. Houston. “There’s a whole cadre of us — of young, white men political leaders in Oakland County — who are saying, ‘We can’t just write off 30-year-old to 40-year-old guys, let alone anyone who’s older.’ ”
So Mr. Houston and like-minded Democrats are working to deploy new, data-driven targeting tools to get the message to white men that the party is more in sync with them than they might think. “We can tell you to the number how many we need and where they live,” said Matt Canter, the deputy executive director of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee.

How many white men are sneaking into the USA from Mexico?
One group the democrats are trying to purge their party from are believers in God. Remember when the majority at their national convention wanted God taken out of their party?
In one way the whole thing was funny. I don’t remember if the vote was to leave God in the party or to take him out, but the majority said they wanted God out of the democratic party. Was God ever allowed in the party in the first place? Did he ever apply for membership? The speaker didn’t know what to do, because the teleprompter had already been written that the majority of the votes was to keep God. The speaker asked for the vote again, and again, it was to get rid of God. Again, he didn’t know what to do, because the teleprompter had been prewritten to keep him. He was told to read it as it had been prewritten, and he did. I’m guessing that they lost a lot of religious people after that.
Mr. Houston has a serious problem; how do you con people into supporting you, after you have demonized them for a decade?
He obviously believes the largest earning demographic is stupid to perhaps he thinks they have a short memory; unfortunately Mr. Houston, your cards have been played, your party scapegoated white males and blamed them for every unpleasant incident for the last 250 years. Unlike you, the great majority does not like being considered Useful Idiots. The Democrats have caused a permanent division in this country and it will take many decades to undo the damage you have inflicted upon the great wage earners who control so much of the non-manipulative campaign contribution money, money that Democrat coffers will never receive in your lifetime.
The pendulum of political power always swings both ways, Democrats have rewritten the rules and created animosities and hatreds that never existed, and created a government that is a dismal failure. The pendulum is about to swing back the other way. May you reap your just rewards.
Have you noticed that Americans have lost interest in your ill-conceived Obama World, and the rest of the world is laughing at our impotent government? Your pleas are as phony as Obama’s Nobel Peace Prize and just as hollow. Remember, Obama won by targeting his campaign to specific PRECINCTS.
He didn’t bother wasting money going after whites (or anybody else) in, say, California where he was a lock.
Several precincts Obama won nearly all the votes.
In others there were more votes than registered voters, Obama won, these, as well.
It just so happened Obama wanted these particular whites to sit home as much as possible last time, so his paid ads targeted them to dismay them or rob them of any hope that their vote could make any difference.
Now, Dems want those votes.
It is simple to get them.
Just stop the ads that rob them of hope and replace those ads with ones that lie about exactly what these voters want and need….they are obviously a gullible group of voters…..they’ll buy it.
