CNN Belittles Franken’s Accuser: ‘He was Just a Comedian’

Truth Revolt:

The Left has created a culture that demands all alleged victims of sexual abuse be believed no matter what and that the accused is guilty regardless of evidence. Unfortunately, they can’t even follow their own rules.

As Newsbusters pointed out, a CNN panel belittled KABC radio host Leann Tweeden’s bombshell accusation that Al Franken treated her in a sexually aggressive way on a USO tour in 2006 by stating, “He was just a comedian.”

It quickly became clear that CNN was hoping to lessen the blow against a Democrat and get back to bashing Republican Roy Moore, who is in a heap of trouble himself.

CNN Newsroom host Brooke Baldwin said, “I realize that this was years and years ago, this story, and he was a private citizen at the time, but can [Franken] survive this?”

Chief political analyst Gloria Borger said:

“It remains to be seen. I mean, we should say that Leeann did not call for him to step down or say he ought to step down…

“We have to look at the context in which all of this occurring, which is Moore. Judge Moore. And that has been, you know, brewing and percolating, whatever you want to say, for days and days and days. So now then you have a Democrat and these charges and I can be sure of one thing, which is this is not the last [woman to come forward]… This is scratching the surface. He was not a member of the Congress at the time this occurred. He was just a comedian.”

(Senator. But this is CNN.)

To the members of this panel, was Donald Trump just a real estate mogul when accusations were brought up against him deep from within his past? Or were they more concerned than they showed here?
