Castro’s Kills

Matt Kibbe:

Watching President Barack Obama hang out with Cuban “president” Raul Castro immediately triggered a question in my mind: How many innocent people were murdered during Fidel and Raul Castro’s brutal Cuban experiment in socialism?

An exact number is hard to find, and available data does not include human suffering due to lack of food and basic services. But the consensus is stark: In his authoritative book “Power Kills,” R.J. Rummel estimates that the Castro regime murdered some 77,000 to 141,000 innocents, including deaths by firing squad and other executions, disappearances, and “extrajudicial killings.” This estimate likely does not include some 77,833 “Balseros,” Cubans who died at sea trying to flee Castro’s reign of terror.

While many Castro sympathizers in the United States have historically bought into Fidel Castro’s original claims as a “humanist,” it is now clear that his intentions were always radically authoritarian. “From the outset,” writes Tad Szulc, a one-time correspondent for the New York Times, “Castro went about turning Cuba into a Marxist-Leninist state, with the collaboration of old-line Communists and the new Communist cadres he was creating within his rebel army.”

Che Guevara, the infamous Castro apparatchik whose image now adorns the designer t-shirts of young progressives, was the first to let the cat out of the bag about the true intentions of the Castro revolution. “We are an armed democracy,” he told an audience in Havana just a few weeks after the January 1, 1959 revolution.

Oh Look its Mumra and Mon-Star we need the Silver Hawks and Thundercats to join forces to stop them both

Why Little Havana Is Partying and Authoritarian Moonbats Are Weeping

As progressives continue to weep and gnash their teeth over the death of Fidel Castro, Cuban escapee Humberto Fontova reminds us why there have been such festive parties in Miami’s Little Havana the past few days:

Fidel Castro jailed and tortured political prisoners at a higher rate than Stalin during the Great Terror. He murdered more Cubans in his first three years in power than Hitler murdered Germans during his first six.

Fidel Castro shattered — through mass-executions, mass-jailings, mass larceny and exile — virtually every family on the island of Cuba. Many opponents of the Castro regime qualify as the longest-suffering political prisoners in modern history, having suffered prison camps, forced labor and torture chambers for a period three times as long in Fidel Castro’s Gulag as Alexander Solzhenitsyn suffered in Stalin’s Gulag.

Fidel Castro and Che Guevara beat ISIS to the game by over half a century. As early as January 1959 they were filming their murders for the media-shock value.

Fidel Castro also came closest of anyone in history to (wantonly) starting a worldwide nuclear war.

In the above process Fidel Castro converted a highly-civilized nation with a higher standard of living than much of Europe and swamped with immigrants into a slum/sewer ravaged by tropical diseases and with the highest suicide rate in the Western hemisphere.

Over TWENTY TIMES as many people (and counting) have died trying to escape Castro’s Cuba as died trying to escape East Germany. Yet prior to Castroism Cuba received more immigrants per-capita than almost any nation on earth—more than the U.S. did including the Ellis Island years…

According to the scholars and researchers at the Cuba Archive, the Castro regime’s total death toll–from torture, prison beatings, firing squads, machine gunning of escapees, drownings, etc.–approaches 100,000. Cuba’s population in 1960 was 6.4 million. According to the human rights group Freedom House, 500,000 Cubans (young and old, male and female) have passed through Castro’s prison and forced-labor camps. This puts Fidel Castro political incarceration rate right up there with his hero Stalin’s.

But Justin Trudeau, Colin Kaepernick, Black Lives Matter, and the rest of the moonbat Left have never had a problem with Castro’s lifelong dedication to evil.

These numbers make Castro a benefactor of humankind, comparable to Stalin, Mao Zhe Dong, and Pol Pot.
Single murder: criminal. 10% of your people: hero.
He liked death. He gave a lot of it to his people.

@Mathman:

The lefts adoration of Castro and other associated miscreant dictators identify the left as dangerous to liberty. The left prefers tyranny over liberty.

The cuban’s are celebrating while the world leaders and the pope are in morning for a tyrant who has received standing ovations from the Useless Nations and the Peanut Eater Kid(Carter)is weeping in his peanut butter they all ignoring Castro’s crimes against his people mushheads dumb and rediculous

Castro is dead, so he’s probably not seeing your posts, Matt. Maybe you should vent about something else.

By the way, how many civilians died because of our intervention in Vietnam? That number would be 587,000. 58,169 American soldiers died, at an average age of around 23 years. The total of all killed is estimated at 2,122,244.

You should shave your beard. It makes you look like Fidel Castro.

@Greg:

How many people did mao and pol pot kill there ol’ greg?

They’re not Fidel Castro, are they?

No, but all three were murderous dictators…..

I read there’s a ice cream palor thats serving a new flaver BURN IN HELL FIDEL it should be way better the BEN & JERRY

@Greg: So you are now comparing Castro to JFK or Johnson? You need to get your screws adjusted.

@Greg: You, however, are sadly not dead. These posts are for ignorant asses like you.

Ever wonder why your handlers are telling your write nonsense about pretending to make Castro something other than one of the worst mass-murderers of our time?

You remind me of “The Last Free American” in Vonnegut’s “Mother Night”.

You have to be getting paid a lot to lie, distort, and otherwise blather this much.

@Greg: “By the way, how many civilians died because of our intervention in Vietnam?” You do know it was your lib friend LBJ that did that for the Dimocrats. All by himself……

@RedTeam: Greg is suffering from to much space between the ears.
