Real estate mogul Donald Trump will not run for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination, he said in a statement released Monday.
“After considerable deliberation and reflection, I have decided not to pursue the office of the Presidency,” Trump said in the statement.
The famously confident reality television star, who has spent the last few months openly considering a run for president said, “I maintain the strong conviction that if I were to run, I would be able to win the primary and ultimately, the general election.”
He said he will continue to voice his opinions and eventually support the candidate “who is the most qualified to help us tackle our country’s most important issues.”
Gee… what a surprise. /sarc Coincidently comes on the heels of confirmation/extension of his “apprentice” show, post negotiations.
This is his third publicity stunt using the office of POTUS for personal/free press. How many times do ya think his “supporters” will fall for it? LOL
This is the most wrong I have been about a prediction, but I am glad to be wrong in this case.
