With the white-hot light of accountability firmly on USAID, more and more details are coming out about what your taxpayer money was being spent on. From transgender comic books to promoting Moroccan pottery classes, to propagandizing Sri Lankan journalists on the supposed evils of “gender-binary” language, the level of waste and corruption is hard to fathom.
Below is just a small sample of the inexcusable far-left excesses that were funded by hard-working Americans, many of which can barely make ends meet after four years of the Biden administration.
USAID has been completely unaccountable for decades, run by bureaucrats with agendas who believed they answered to nobody.

Things are about to get much worse, though, so buckle up. According to recently revealed records, left-leaning news outlet Politico received over thirty-four million dollars from USAID and other government agencies. That money went to pay for “subscriptions” for various bureaucratic officials, including “pro” subscriptions that add up to over $10,000 a pop.
Having been in the media business, I would wonder how many of these outlets are staying in business.
Now it makes perfect sense.

The Politico scandal is worse than you think.
It’s not $8M that Politico received from USAID.
It’s $34.3M that Politico has received from various swampy federal govt agencies.
Politico is, without a doubt, a totally corrupt propaganda arm of the swamp.

A breakdown of some of the expenditures shows USAID paid $443,998 for just 37 subscriptions to Politico for FDA officials. Another outlay for “subscriptions” cost $862,025.

Politico has never disclosed those payments even as they’ve written pieces covering USAID, posing as unbiased arbiters of truth. That represents one of the biggest scandals in the history of the press. The United States government was funneling money to a left-wing news outlet that has repeatedly done the bidding of the Democratic Party. As an example, you may remember Politico as the same news site that laundered the infamous letter from “51 intelligence officials” saying the Hunter Biden laptop was Russian disinformation.

In other words, it sure looks like the Biden administration was paying a news outlet to do its bidding. Are we supposed to believe it’s just a coincidence that Politico was routinely the go-to for Democratic Party politicians and officials to launder their propaganda?
There’s more, though, and while it’s speculative, it’s certainly a pretty big coincidence. After all the funding from USAID to Politico got shut down in late January, they suddenly missed their next pay period, claiming “technical difficulties.”

If you’ve ever wondered how some of these left-wing news outlets stay afloat financially, what has been revealed about Politico is one big reason. Democrats use federal agencies to funnel money for the express purpose of influencing elections and pushing left-wing ideology. It’s been out in the open with organizations like NPR and PBS, but the level of corruption we are going to find out about will be mind-blowing. This is just the tip of the iceberg.
Politico should not survive this. To take millions of dollars from the entity you are covering and not let your readers know about it is a huge breach of journalistic ethics. Hopefully, this leads to major investigations because does anyone actually believe it costs $447,998 for 37 subscriptions to a news site? If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it’s probably a duck.
I can’t recall where I was reading about a panicked man in a ritzy neighborhood.
Turned out he had been the funnel man for a huge USAID program overseas.
Only his personal use of all the funds had led him to become very wasteful of the funds.
He personally ran thru millions per year living like a jet setter.
Now it’s all over and he hasn’t “worked” for a living in decades.
He will lose everything.
When we read that there was a weird USAID program “teaching foreigners how to XXX,” it was most likely headed by people like this guy and no foreigners were actually aided by all the cash.
I bet a lot of these people losing their jobs are going to be people who have no skills and cannot possibly find a decent job.
Sadly, it hasn’t just been people like this loser.
Chelsea Clinton has been given $82 million from USAID since she married her millionaire boyfriend.
He was rich!
His daddy is richer.
WHY did she need an extra $82 million from us taxpayers?
I think it stems from the idea that America was a failed experiment and dems found ways to get rich while “managing the decline.”
Note to Elon, USAID represents less than 1% of the US budget in expenditures.
There’s loads more waste to find.
