A threat this empty hasn’t been uttered since Captain Hazelwood told Exxon, “Don’t even think about blaming this on me or you’ll have to find somebody else to drive your tankers!”
Vice President Joe Biden acknowledged it wasn’t a political event, but it still didn’t prevent him from sending this warning to Teamsters union members during his address at their annual convention in Las Vegas this past Friday.
“And don’t any of you, by the way, any of you guys vote Republican,” Biden said. “I’m not supposed to say, this isn’t political. …don’t come to me if you do! You’re on your own, Jack!”
Do you think the White House getting a little nervous that another Teamsters flip to a GOP endorsement could be on the dismal economic horizon the way it happened with Reagan?
“You’re on your own.” No help from Joe Biden? What a frightening prospect. Given a choice between being “helped” by Joe Biden or being on my own, I’d choose “on my own” 99.99% of the time (the .01% would be if I needed a skilled partner for a water gun fight or directions to the nearest one-and-a-half-star hair transplant clinic).
That’s not a threat, Michelle. It’s an observation.

I believe that is not a threat, but a promise. what a joke. barack, barry, steve and biden are running so scared for re election they resort to threats.
Vote Democrat or else?? Last time I checked the Democrats were the ones most dependent on the “Union Vote” now Biden is threatening the Unions for votes? Running a little scared are we?
So obvious of Biden to admit that publicly that the Obama Administration will show favoritism towards the unions, but if they are not elected, the unions will lose their favored status with the WH.
They are smarter than you Joe; unfortunately, they realize there is no advantage to belonging to a union if you don’t have a job. Good Bye clueless Joe, 2012 will be here before you know it.

Actually, Greg, Biden’s comment is a perfect example of the term ‘Gangster government’ that many people suggest is the Obama WH’s style.
Do not forget that Biden meet with the unions goons in FL a few years ago, behind closed doors, no press allowed, no reporting on what was discussed or promised. The transparency of this administration is laughable.
