The Obiden admin failed to slow the spread of the H1N1 virus. Congress called on the Obiden admin to restrict travel with Mexico, where the H1N1 outbreak started, but they refused. Janet Napolitano argued that closing the border or U.S. ports would have “no impact or very little” in stopping or slowing the spread of the virus.
Travel bans work, eventually WHO experts conceded that the Trump China travel ban worked and saved lives. Obiden’s decision not to close travel with Mexico cost lives.
The Obiden admin predicted in early summer [2009] that it would have 160 million vaccine doses by late October, but ended up with less than 30 million.
The Obiden admin’s response to the H1N1 pandemic was so bad that former Ebola czar, Ron Klain, who is also an advisor to Biden’s campaign, admitted that the response was botched.
Klain: “We did every possible thing wrong. Sixty million Americans got H1N1 in that period of time. And it is purely a fortuity that this isn’t one of the great mass casualty events in American history.”
Yeah, Biden should keep his mouth shut rather than dredge up memories of relatives struggling to survive H1N1.
And, IF Biden has such a strong great idea how to beat covid, maybe he should tell people instead of merely grousing.
And maybe the CDC ought to watch itself.
It “accidentally” published a false warning ( from a deep state anti-Trumper?) that covid was airborne and could spread over 20 feet instead of droplet borne and able to spread only a couple of feet. Biden, with his doomsday predictions, seems to have swallowed that fake news down whole.

The House panel is drawing the conclusion that it was China’s incompetence and lying, along with the complicity of the WHO that caused the deaths, not any failure by Trump. Funny how Democrats were all recommending doing the OPPOSITE of what Trump was recommending as he put together his team of experts and plan yet, after they realized how stupid they were, they accused Trump of failing to address the threat.
