They’re offensive.
The Salafist Party in Egypt, which just won 20 percent of the vote in the recent elections, wants to cover the “idolatrous” Giza pyramids with wax.
The Daily Mail reported:The pyramids at Giza are the most stunning sight I have ever seen.
True, their lonely eminence is threatened by Cairo’s unlicensed building sprawl, with half completed houses inching their way towards them.
Surveying them at night as the calls to prayer multiplied into a thunder of sound from central Cairo already told me a few years back what was coming.
Unfortunately, this is exactly what I’d predicted. There could be a wholesale destruction of antiquities perpetrated by the same mental midgets who blew up the Buddas in Afghanistan. There really is only one way to deal with this tenth century pestilence, and I hope we wake up to that realization before it’s too late.

Like the New York Muslim woman who was so upset that Rep Peter King had meetings about the radicalization of some Islamic groups here that she sent him a hate package.
She accused him, a CATHOLIC, of being a Jew and included a bloody pig’s foot in her package that included a personal message ending with the phrase, ‘kiss my black, Muslim-American a**.’
BUT that isn’t all.
She also sent a hate package to her state Senator, Greg Ball, because she believed he was “biased against her Islamic faith.”
In it was an unlabeled vial of fragrance and a toy stuffed monkey with stars of David on it.
BUT that isn’t all, either.
When the packages were traced back to her the police went to her home.
She came at them with a knife and a gun.
The police had to shoot and kill her!
Still, I know of folks who live in that district in NY who only knew about her Muslim faith and her hate packages from the Daily Mail!
All their local news had said, up until last night, was that police had killed a lady in her home.
Huh!
