“Screw this guy and screw them all who are all about religious exemptions because they don’t want anyone to tell them what to do. People tell you what to do all the time, and you do it. This is such BS. He and his ilk deserve whatever comes their way, including job losses, getting sick, and perhaps dying from the virus. But in the meantime, he’s going to put all the people around him in danger. I don’t know why the GOP doesn’t just take those guns they profess to love so much and just start shooting all of their constituents who feel this way. It would be quicker and ultimately safer than putting me and my friends and family at risk.”

That’s a Facebook post by high school teacher Mollie Mumau. She works at McLane High School in Erie, Pennsylvania. Or at least she did until recently.

about a Pennsylvania man who might lose his job for refusing to get vaccinated against COVID-19. The man was attempting to secure a religious exemption to the mandatory vaccine requirement.

they do not condone these “potentially inappropriate” comments. They have also indicated that Mumau will not be “returning” to the school in any capacity. There is no indication yet, however, that Mumau faces actual disciplinary action of any kind. She may very well simply land another position elsewhere in the educational establishment.

herself on social media as an “educator, wife, union advocate, semi-pro wine drinker, LGBTQ ally, and ‘Team Pfizer.’” Mumau is also a member of the Pennsylvania State Education Association (PSEA) and was selected by the group to be both a state and federal director for the National Education Association (NEA), the largest teacher’s union in the country.

In the wake of the firestorm created by her comments, Mumau, who was apparently on union business in Pittsburgh when she made her post, was asked to rescind her comments by the high school where she works. She ultimately did so three days later, but in the interim logged on frequently to defend her comments and attack those who suggested she had gone too far. She has since offered a fairly pro forma “apology” for her comments.

Mumau’s desire to see people die of the virus who don’t agree with her political views and her call for the mass execution of Republicans have understandably fired up a number of groups nationwide. Catholic League President William Donahue fired off a letter to NEA President Rebecca Pringle saying in part.

“Your role as president of the National Education Association is pivotal, and that is why I am urging you to remove Mollie Paige Mumau from the board of directors of the NEA; she is employed in the General McLane School District in Edinboro, Pennsylvania, which is part of Erie County.

In her Tuesday Facebook post, Mumau did more than criticize those who are seeking a religious exemption from receiving the COVID-19 vaccination. She suggested they be shot… There is no legitimate place in public life for anyone who advocates the mass slaughter of innocent Americans, and it is doubly offensive that it should emanate from a teacher. Indeed, Mumau should be prosecuted for what she has done, and that is why I am contacting Erie County District Attorney Jack Daneri.”

Prior to this incident, Mumau was already well known to parents in her school district for pushing an aggressive “equity” agenda. She apparently hung a Black Lives Matter flag in her classroom. She admonished students who referred to black Americans that the only acceptable term was “people of color.” She seemed significantly less concerned with teaching English, which was ostensibly her job, than molding the minds of her students and forcing them to adhere to a particular set of social beliefs.

American public schools are all basically supposed to run the same way. They are under local control. Parents elect a school board. The school board hires personnel. That personnel runs the schools for the community. They teach the kids what the parents want them to be taught.

Unfortunately, our schools don’t actually run that way at all. They have been hijacked by “educators” who increasingly regard the parents – the ones who are supposed to control the schools and what they teach – as backward, ignorant, and the enemy. The role of “educators” in this situation is to ‘save the children from their biological parents, to become in effect their real parents and to preach the theology of the far left.

Forget math, grammar, and science. Our public schools don’t have any time for such luxuries, which are, in any event, racist. The children’s minds must be shaped. They must be taught how to be the model citizens of the future.

There can be nothing more fundamental to the future of this country. Our schools have been taken over by forces hostile to what most of us believe and want. Mumau is not an aberration. She is now the norm.This has nothing to do with teaching. It has everything to do with indoctrination.
