The Ryan Pick….Why Democrats Should Be Worried

If this is true it’s is so on now!
Mitt Romney is expected to tap Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan to be his vice presidential running mate, multiple news organizations reported in the wee hours of Saturday morning. The pick was first reported by NBC News’ Chuck Todd, who cited three sources.
There is nothing new to this President. No great thinking involved. Just copy and paste any kind of rhetoric, any kind of demagoguery.
So Paul Ryan releases his budget proposal and the Democrats get hysterical:
1. Our food won’t be the same: “The cuts to domestic spending, if applied across the board, would lead to fewer food inspectors, fewer air-traffic controllers, and so forth. That would mean more delays and cases of food poisoning, and so forth.”
Let me ask you a question: what if your President, your Senator and your Congressman knew it was coming? What if they knew when it was going to happen, why it was going to happen and more importantly, what if they knew what they needed to do to stop it from happening and they had the time to stop it? But they chose to do nothing about it, because it wasn’t good politics?
Beating Barack Obama and ending the damage he can do to this country is one of the most important tasks facing this country. Much to my chagrin, many of my fellow conservatives are all to willing to do Obama’s bidding in taking down Mitt Romney. What does that leave?
Newt Gingrich?
For much of the last three years, I, like so many others who were so despondent after the election of 2008, assumed that the election of 2012 was finally going to provide the American people with a real choice of philosophies.
On the one side you have President Obama and the progressive / fascist utopia. (Fascist in the economic sense – where private property remains, but government dictates its usage – rather than the Nazi anti-Semitic / nationalist sense.) This utopia is where government plays the role of caretaker of the nation, where government tells citizens what they can and can’t do with their property, what they must buy and where they must invest, where unions have the power to coerce both government officials and private corporations that pay their members salaries.
So Obama’s 3rd press conference in 17 days is over and absolutely nothing was learned, once again. No specifics, just a rehash of his last two press conferences.
If this was his idea of “going to the American people” then he failed miserably.
It’s not uncommon to hear liberals ridicule conservatives for wanting a Constitutional government by suggesting that they are seeking to return to a time when blacks were considered 3/5 of a person and that the Constitution is somehow permanently damaged because it did not outlaw slavery. (At the time of the Constitution’s ratification in 1789 slavery was still legal in the British and French Empires – although not in England and France themselves – Spain, Denmark & Norway as well as most of the Middle East, Africa and Asia.)
News Before it Happens
This prediction has been made by others (like Dr. John in Flopping Aces): the coming election, from the Democrat controlled media, is going to be all about race. Anything a Republican says about Obama is racist or code words for racism.
Easy call: Israel is not going back to its 1967 borders.
