democrats are a mess. They have no message other than “Trump bad.” They’ve made one stupid move after another, siding with human traffickers, drug smugglers and CEO killers. Nothing is working, so they have resorted to theatrics led by one Alex Padilla. If I had to guess, I’d guess this was planned in advance and that pretty much all democrats were given a heads-up about it.
Alex Padilla, the emotionally volatile lightweight senior Senator from California, pulled off one of the most stupid and obvious stunts we’ve seen in some time. He interrupted an official proceeding and appeared readying to attack Homeland Secretary Kristi Noem as she was speaking.

He was removed from the briefing forcibly and was briefly handcuffed. Of course, this saw a torrent of umbrage from democrats.

It was all like that.
Within 24 hours, Padilla was fundraising off the incident.
He did NOT introduce himself before attacking.
He was not wearing his Senate security pin visibly.
He resisted the officers.
He assaulted officers.
Note that he was dressed not as a Senator, but more like an illegal.
He behaved like an illegal alien criminal.
This looks like someone who means harm to Noem.
Bill Shipley opines that Padilla should be charged the same as any Jan 6 protesters. Yes, he should be charged. He should also be censured and removed from office.
But he got what he wanted.
Attention.
Even CNN recognized it.
Even CNN called out Padilla’s stunt for what it was, a desperate attempt to grab attention at a press conference where he didn’t belong.

He also furnished democrats with a talking point, something they took great advantage of but to no avail.
Someone on X dubbed Padilla “Jorge Floyd.”
This is a stupid stunt committed in desperation. The underlying issue is that democrats have absolutely nothing to stand for other than opposition to everything. They’re on the wrong side of all of the 80-20 or 90-10 issues.
Padilla knew what he was doing. democrats knew what he was doing. We knew what he was doing. If he had questions, he could have waited for her to finish.
The only thing missing was Padilla at his own press conference saying, “I couldn’t breathe.”
Moronic actions like this are not going to help. Carry on, dems.

Senator Padilla’s stunt was just as stupid and could have resulted in his death had he continued to fight law enforcers.
