The Week in Radical Leftism – Back to The Washington Post!

Welcome back to Day 130 of America’s liberation from the Biden*/Harris occupation! But not everyone is thrilled, and our Lefty pals are more miserable than usual. Let’s go to The Washington Post for the latest glimpse into a collective soul in torment:

These historians oversee unbiased accounts of U.S. foreign policy. Trump fired them all.

“Unbiased”. LOL

GOP rejects ‘millionaire tax’ pitch, advancing breaks for rich Americans

Yes, since The Radical Left uses the same stupid language, no matter how false it is. Then again, the GOP did raise the SALT deduction, but I thought it was Dems who wanted that?

Millions of Americans hit with bad credit after missed student loan payments

I’m not in the “You borrowed the money – pay it back” camp. OK I actually am, but four years ago I made The Conservative Case for Student Loan Forgiveness. That said, any loan bearer has had years for deferment and also knew that this day would come. If you’re now 90 days late this is nobody’s fault but your own.

As Trump cuts science budgets, some researchers look abroad

Great, find another government to fund you research on gay frogs.

Trump confronts South African president, pushing claims of genocide

“Claims”. To WaPo’s credit they didn’t follow the marching orders to repeat the word “ambush”.

FBI reassigns agents who knelt during 2020 Black Lives Matter protests

FBI agents who knelt for BLM reassigned? This an outrage! Why are they still employed?

‘It’s just not sustainable’: D.C. restaurants pushed to the brink

Again, to WaPo’s credit they cite new minimum wage laws. Of course, they blame the government layoffs without acknowledging Trump’s Return To Office orders.

White House officials wanted to put federal workers ‘in trauma.’ It’s working.

Shot: I saved the best for last. The Post is complaining about the treatment of the bureaucracy that vowed to deny the results of the 2024 election and a few years ago were sneering “No jab no job” at people who didn’t like potentially sacrificing their health for the cause of Pfizer’s share price and Fauci’s bonus payments. I personally feel badly for most of the folks losing their jobs, just not anyone who is part of the now well publicized fraud or the DEI Industrial Complex.

The End of D.C.’s Elite Social Scene

Chaser: This is an old post from 2021, written by a DC socialite for the now defunct WaPo Magazine that accompanied the Sunday paper. It’s long, but a surprisingly good read. The author complains how the intrusion of the Trump presidency ruined her wonderful decades long DC social scene. While she’s grateful for Biden* bringing back a return to normalcy, Trump’s four years would forever change things, and it would be a good thing in the long run. I think that what makes this article a great read is that it’s like watching a movie from the bad guys’ perspective, and you kind of root for them knowing that they’ll ultimately be defeated. The movies “Das Boot” or “Arbitrage”, the TV series “The Americans”, or the “Hillary” miniseries on Hulu come to mind. And this post will leave you what would be the most appropriate fate for DC – Sodom & Gamorrah, Carthage, or Dresden?

Have a great weekend!

75 years ago lived in Arlington. Was a precocious kid; so I was as literate then as Jeb! has ever been. Read KGB managed W. Post daily. Daily had to determine; did I believe my lying eyes and ears, or the Post.

Post’s FAKE NEWS was almost always at variance with what I saw and heard.

Ownership has changed many times since then. But Bolsheviks still run the Post.

OF course those fired were unbiased!
”An advisory committee of diverse historians …
Diverse has been UNIPARTY code for unbiased for decades!

70 years ago I and 17 cousins proved – to GWB – we weren’t Americans. WE DID JOBS AMERICANS WONT DO (“worked the fields”) to pay for future college. While an undergrad I did many glamor jobs, such as wash dishes, so I and my cousins graduated DEBT FREE.

“Many men have died from FEAR OF HARD WORK! Hard work never killed a man!” Abe.

I am almost positive none of those defaulting ever picked cherries ( on a ladder in May) or prunes (off the deck on Aug); nor washed dishes!
I do feel their pain. NOT!

Again
Bolsheviks still run the Post.

Bezos lives over 3,000 miles away. I doubt he spends more than than 5 hours a week there!

Agreed!
Kneelers should be fired!

Illegals have always been destructive; and therefore a financial drain on “working Americans”
Ike generated DEFLATION by having budget SURPLUSES 3 of 6 years after OPERATION WETBACK!

It was wonderful for “working Americans” we all got a series of TAX FREE pay raises – cost of living declined.
For the Biden/Bush folk WETBAcK was horribly INHUMANE! They had to pay MUCH MORE for: cooks, drivers, gardeners, maids, etc. etc.

If you didn’t know before you now know why GWB had an “OPEN BORDERS” government 24 years ago! Did you actually think “W” mowed his lawn?

As Trump cuts science budgets, some researchers look abroad
Hey the ignorant broad didnt win, now we will never know how many licks to get to the center of that tootsie pop. The answer was in the commercial.

The firebombing of Tokyo comes to mind as eminently suitable for DC.
The best part is that we won’t even have to lift a finger. The Left’s Brownshirts will do it to themselves when a certain threshold of made-up outrage and hate is reached.

“Since Trump took office, the government has pushed at least 130,000 people out of jobs — with more than 50,000 fired and 76,000 accepting buyouts,”
Well, it’s a start.
“They’d been planning a trip to Colombia to bird-watch. And India, for their son’s wedding celebration. And Africa for a safari. They had visited 48 states and were missing only North and South Dakota.”
No sympathy here. I’ve lost several jobs, but instead of spending money on lavish vacations, I’d always saved money so that I was prepared for hard times like a job loss.
I’ve always found another job, or made my own.
If you’re taking expensive vacations while living paycheck-to-paycheck instead of building up a buffer, what awaits you with a job loss is your own fault.
There have been several times that a gourmet meal for me was when I was able to open two cans.
These people were too dependent on eternal taxpayer funding of their lifestyle.

The only problem with savings is the government knows, and figures you can afford another tax hike. Taxing unrealized gains on the old 401K, never ever a deduction for losses.
Vacation for us was camping, getting a spot away from the pit toilet. Having my own camp is glamping. Running hot water, no walks in the dark to the pit toilet, hoping not to run into a bear or a drunk. All for less than some safari or going to Hawaii, only drawback is I have to do my own mowing. (I really like to mow my 2 acres of park, am under orders not to clear any more the rest is rough woods)

These historians oversee unbiased accounts of U.S. foreign policy. Trump fired them all.

I’ve seen the WaPo’s version of “unbiased”. They definitely should have been fired.

GOP rejects ‘millionaire tax’ pitch, advancing breaks for rich Americans

Remember when the left turned on Robin Ware/Robert L. Peters/JRB Ware/Pedo Peter/idiot Biden because he tried to cheat on his taxes and wouldn’t hold his own son accountable for evading millions of taxes owed? I also find it odd that though Musk paid $11.9 billion in taxes last year, the left did all they could to destroy all his income so he would probably get a refund this year. How stupid is that?

Millions of Americans hit with bad credit after missed student loan payments

I was in favor of renegotiating the loans and lowering interest rates. Why wasn’t such an accommodation considered? However, just blowing the loans off is totally stupid.

As Trump cuts science budgets, some researchers look abroad

I wish I had thought of it while they were handing out bags of cash for “research”, but as a frequent camper, I would have loved to have gotten a $20 million grant to study why the campfire smoke always blows right in your face no matter where you sit or move.

Trump confronts South African president, pushing claims of genocide

You aren’t “ambushed” when you beg Trump for an audience to defend the indefensible. You get what you got coming.

FBI reassigns agents who knelt during 2020 Black Lives Matter protests

I love the FBI (with new, dedicated leadership) and the hardworking agents, but those that express a political bias or submit to pressure from avowed racists actually need to be fired.

‘It’s just not sustainable’: D.C. restaurants pushed to the brink

Whose idea was it to hire hundreds of thousands of federal workers we didn’t need? It’s a real shame when someone loses their job and face the uncertainty of future employment, but Democrats created this problem and the problem has to be rectified. Same as illegal immigration.

White House officials wanted to put federal workers ‘in trauma.’ It’s working.

Poor babies. You know who else suffered trauma? People that went out of business because the government shut down the economy. People that have loved ones robbed, raped or killed by illegal immigrants. People robbed and then see their attackers immediately released from jail. In summary, anyone that has to endure the results of Democrat policies. You know what they (we) do? We ENDURE.

The End of D.C.’s Elite Social Scene

So, basically, leftists are intolerant. Well… we already knew that.
