The left has adopted a new cult- the cult of death. Historically, we have found murder repulsive with only the occasional looney tune nut case finding the murderer appealing and attractive but now a large portion of the left is tacitly endorsing murder.
Luigi Mangione: Handsome rascal bringing it to the man
On December 4, 2024, United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson was murdered by Luigi Mangione in New York. This was not simply murder, it was a well-planned execution. Mangione is currently seeking to block the death penalty in his case. That is not surprising, but what is eye opening is the response of the left.
Some of it is due to Mangione’s being attractive to women
Young, tall, strikingly handsome, undeniably intelligent, and successful—Luigi shattered expectations of what we typically associate with a criminal suspect.
His dark curls, chocolate-brown eyes, and handsome features made him impossible to ignore.
Within hours, the internet was flooded with photos, video clips, and endless speculation about who he was.
Instantly, women everywhere became infatuated with him—not just as a suspect, but as an undeniable heartthrob.
Across social media, women have shared thousands of thirst tweets, swooned over his photos, and unapologetically voiced their fantasies in bold, unfiltered ways.
But while the obsession feels loud and absolutely inescapable, it’s also left many people confused.
Why are women losing their minds over Luigi Mangione?
Luigi Mangione has indeed drawn significant attention from women, largely amplified by social media and media coverage following his high-profile case. His perceived attractiveness, intelligence, and the “tragic hero” narrative—stemming from his alleged actions against a healthcare CEO—have fueled fascination. Some women are drawn to his looks, with viral posts highlighting his dark curls, brown eyes, and confident demeanor, while others romanticize his story as a rebellion against systemic issues like healthcare injustices. This aligns with psychological phenomena like hybristophilia, where some are attracted to individuals associated with crime, often due to media portrayal or a desire to “fix” or connect with a dangerous figure. Posts on platforms like X and articles note women calling him “handsome,” “smart,” or a “revolutionary,” with some even showing up to court to support him. However, this attention is controversial, as critics argue it distracts from the gravity of his charges and risks glamorizing violence.
Some find him to be a kind of folk hero slaying the machine:
The idea of Luigi Mangione as a “folk hero” stems from a polarized public reaction to his alleged actions. Some view him as a symbol of resistance against corporate greed, particularly due to his accused killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in December 2024. Supporters, frustrated with healthcare systems, have donated over $615,000 to his legal defense and rallied around him, with some even wearing Luigi-themed caps at court hearings. Social media posts on X amplify this, framing him as a modern Robin Hood or anti-establishment figure, though others call this romanticization misguided.
Mangione has accumulated a fortune in donations for his defense:
Luigi Mangione, accused of murdering UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in December 2024, has received significant public donations for his legal defense through a GiveSendGo fundraiser organized by the “December 4th Legal Committee.” Here are key details based on available information:
- As of early April 2025, the fundraiser has raised over $900,000, with a goal of $1 million.
- Notable Donations:
- Largest single donation: $36,500 from an anonymous donor.
- Another significant anonymous donation: $30,000.
- A recent $23,000 anonymous contribution was reported.
- Donor Motivations: Many donors express frustration with the U.S. healthcare system, citing personal experiences with insurance denials or medical debt. Some support Mangione’s right to a fair trial, while others view the case as politicized, particularly with the potential death penalty.
The noted scholar Taylor Lorenz finds Mangione “handsome” and a “morally good” man.
Reddit has a community devoted to Mangione
Since the killing, Mangione has risen to folk hero status among some radical leftists, who consider his alleged actions acceptable — or even admirable.
A Reddit community called r/FreeLuigi has more than 38,000 members, mostly girls and young women, who breathlessly proclaim Mangione’s innocence and gush about his matinee idol looks in a deranged internet echo chamber.
They share photos of the Luigi-themed T-shirts (some portraying him as a saint), sketches, cakes, embroidery and paintings they’ve created.
His adoring female fans send sacks of letters to the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn where he’s currently being held. One admirer even sneaked a heart-shaped note to him concealed in a pair of argyle socks.
Karmelo Anthony: Killer as victim
On April 2, 2025, Karmelo Anthony killed Austin Metcalf. Of that there is no doubt as Anthony straight out admitted it.
Officer Eduardo Cortez, a school resource officer, was the first to arrive at the scene, according to the affidavit.
“I was protecting myself,” Anthony allegedly said, unprovoked, when Cortez told him to keep his hands in the air. The officer then communicated to others that he had the alleged suspect in custody, to which Anthony said, “I’m not ‘alleged.’ I did it.”
Anthony stabbed Metcalf in the heart and Metcalf rapidly bled out. Anthony claims it was in self-defense.
Metcalf and Anthony were present at David Kuykendall Stadium, which was hosting several schools for a track meet.
An arrest report says a confrontation between the two star football players began when Austin told Karmelo he was sitting under another team’s pop-up tent and told him to move, as reported by NBC DFW.
The two students from different high schools began fighting before Karmelo unzipped his bag and reached in, telling Austin: ‘Touch me and see what happens.’
The report says Austin then ‘grabbed Anthony to tell him to move and Anthony pulled out … a black knife and stabbed Austin once in the chest.’
Anthony’s attorney Michael Howard said “he is not ready to disclose why Anthony brought a knife to the track match.”
Indeed.

Bail was met because as of April 14, 2025, a fundraiser on GiveSendGo for Karmelo Anthony had raised approximately $415,000 for his legal defense and family support, with a goal of $450,000.
Kyle Rittenhouse spent 87 days in jail under a $2 million bond which was eventually satisfied.
Now Anthony not only has a truckload of cash, but he has also become a hero: This from “Minister Dominique Alexander:
Karmelo Anthony is SAFE at home. This moment is a reminder that a community united can never be divided. The journey ahead is long, but today—we celebrate a victory for justice, for family, and for the power of people coming together to protect our youth. Thank you to everyone who stood with us. The fight continues, but tonight, Karmelo is home.
About that Minister Dominique Alexander…
Anthony’s family is living it up with the “defense” donations.
A Texas teen charged in the stabbing death of a track star is holed up in an exclusive gated community in a $900,000 house – despite claiming to have limited financial means as he convinced a judge to release him from jail.
…
The teenager is now hunkered down in a Frisco home located on Mercedes Lane that his family is renting for an estimated price tag of $3,500 a month, according to Zillow.
When DailyMail.com visited the home Tuesday, a white Suburban, a black Acura and a third sedan were parked in the driveway.
One resident told DailyMail.com the family just purchased a new vehicle.
…
‘He got a new car. If you look at the license plate, it’s got a paper tag and it says it expires June 4,’ the resident, who asked to remain anonymous, shared.
The lavish lifestyle is in stark contract to the cash struggles Anthony’s father, Andrew Anthony, claimed to have in court Monday, where the parent claimed he was the sole breadwinner.
This case has so many echoes from the past- Michael Brown/ Darren Wilson, Daniel Penny/ Jordan Neely, George Floyd/ Derek Chauvin, but this is very different. There are no violent protests, no banner flying, no torching buildings, no burning cities.
One cannot help but wonder why. One wonders what the reactions would be were the races reversed.
Why does a kid bring a knife to track meet? Why does a kid intentionally sit under a tent of a competing team? Why does a kid open a bag and make an over threat? Why does a kid kill someone over something this minor?
All that’s missing is Al Sharpton.
Murder can be lucrative
NEW: Karmelo Anthony’s team releases a “POV” video filmed on Ray-Ban META glasses, brag about intimidating a female reporter.
They’re treating him like a celebrity.
Anthony’s family has also allegedly purchased a new car.

We live in an environment of near violence pretty much all of the time now. Bernie Sanders and AOC are out there vilifying Donald Trump and Elon Musk, firing up crowds to a fever pitch while lying all the time.
Leftists at an AOC rally call to behead and hang Trump @FBI @SecretService.
Will @AOC denounce these calls for violence?? pic.twitter.com/7yY1yboYDv

Every single day democrats are breathlessly asserting that Trump and Musk are Nazis, that they’re going to steal your social security and Medicaid and give it to billionaires, that free speech is being curtailed and democracy itself is at risk. Violence is the expected consequence of their false rhetoric and it’s happening.
We are now in the stage of normalization of murder for profit and fame.

Except for liberals being foolish.
Lefty dummies.
All those lovelorn females (and males?) who failed to read a word about Luigi.
WHY did he kill the CEO of his medical plan?
Because his back surgery (covered) failed.
This sometimes happens.
As a result he can no longer have sex.
OOPS, ladies he’s a “heartthrob” on paper only.
Not in real life where he’s now an INCEL.
One sliver of a silver lining – If Luigi somehow gets out of prison he’ll forever be living in fear of Taylor Lorenz showing up at his door
Luigi unibrow is toast too white. Karmelo hunter slayer most likely will get a light sentence and be let out to repeat offend.
Karmelo now officially has a career in politics running as a Democrat
First thing they did was move away from the Black donors, lol, into a gated community majorly white. I hope they are buying their kids kevlar body armor.
If Obama had 2 sons

FYI: Under ‘Private Inurement’ rules it is ILLEGAL for a private individual to set up a donation fund and then use the funds to purchase personal property. It is IMPERMISSIBLE to use charitable donations for private gain
Examples of violations of Private Inurement illegal activities is using donations to pay for personal vacations, luxury cars, purchasing a home, or home improvements. Such violations are subject to IRS scrutiny and penalties. In addition, donors have the right to sue the organization/ individual for misuse of funds.
GiveSendGo, as the hosting site, needs to clawback the donations and credit the donors or it can likely be sued for Fraudulent Fundraising Practices.
