Tulsi wasn’t just the right choice; she was the perfect choice.

Tulsi Gabbard has been insulted over and over again by democrats and even some Republicans. She has been called a “Russian asset” (does that sound familiar?). After Trump nominated her for DNI Abilgail Spanberger said about Gabbard “Not only is she ill-prepared and unqualified, but she traffics in conspiracy theories and cozies up to dictators like Bashar-al Assad and Vladimir Putin.”

For a long time now Gabbard has been warning everyone about Syria. The ignorati have been for some time wailing about the evil of Bashar Assad. USA Today celebrated his removal.

What he didn’t say: It also could be good news for the United States.

Assad’s fall not only ends his family’s bloody half-century reign, but it also weakens Russia and Iran’s standing in the Middle East, provides the U.S. with another possible partner in its campaign to contain the Islamic State, and opens the door for the U.S. to finally secure the release of missing journalist Austin Tice, who was captured more than a decade ago in Syria.

I am not arguing that he was a wonderful guy, but this is a classic lesson in “the devil you don’t know.” Some of us have seen this movie before- in Iran in 1979.

Assad is gone from power, and into the void has stepped even worse monsters. Gabbard said that Assad, as bad as he might have been, was protecting Christians in Syria. She was right. Islamists, the freedom fighter darlings of the left in Syria are massacring Christians as they are wont to do, all in the name of Allah. This from Oli of London on X.

The Islamists are killing Alawites, Sunni Muslims and Christians.

The number murdered is reported to be somewhere between 350 and 600 so far.

At her confirmation hearing Gabbard said

 “I have no love for Assad or any dictator. I just hate al-Qaeda. I hate that our leaders cozy up to Islamist extremists, calling them “rebels”, as Jake Sullivan said to Hillary Clinton, “al Qaeda is on our side in Syria.” Syria is now controlled by al-Qaeda offshoot HTS, led by an Islamist Jihadist who danced in the streets on 9/11, and who was responsible for the killing of many American soldiers.”

Syria is destined to suffer the same fate as Iran- become a fundamentalist state intolerant of non-Muslims and a hot bed of terrorism. These same “freedom fighter” immigrants are going to be the end of Judeo-Christian Europe. Gabbard recognizes the poison that is Islam.

The deaths now are at the hands of not only the HTS, but on the hands of Hillary Clinton, Jake Sullivan and every democrat who voted against Gabbard.

Tulsi Gabbard is an asset alright- to the US. It is the democrats and doubters who are the true Russian assets.

She was not only the right choice, but she was also the perfect choice.
