The Week in Radical Leftism – James Earl Carter Edition!

Happy New Year everyone! As a Nation the countdown is down to 17 days until we’re finally unburdened by what has been in the Obamiden* occupation! Let’s start off the year right by giving Jimmy Carter a fitting tribute. Back in 2007 the Investor’s Business Daily newspaper (Now Issues and Insights) wrote “Profile in Incompetence: The Ten Part Series on The Worst President in American History”. Although the articles are no longer available on line, Ace of Spades tracked down a .pdf of the entire series that you can read here. And because it’s in an individual .pdf I can’t link to each part individually, and unfortunately don’t have the time to build a web page for each part. Luckily, at 21 pages it’s easy to scroll through and read one piece at a time. To summarize:

Part One: Look Who’s Talking

So Jimmy Carter calls the Bush administration “the worst in history.” This from the man who wrecked the world’s greatest economy and made a nuclear Iran and North Korea possible.

Part Two: ‘Malaise’ Maestro

When it comes to economic performance, there’s no contest: Apart from the early years of the Depression, Jimmy Carter’s brief tenure as president was the worst in the 20th century.

Part Three: Carter Planted Seeds Of Al-Qaida

After being told over and over by President Jimmy Carter that America’s ability to influence world events was “very limited,” the Soviet Union believed him and invaded Afghanistan. And al-Qaida was born.

Part Four: Iran: Carter’s Habitat For Inhumanity

In the name of human rights, Jimmy Carter gave rise to one of the worst rights violators in history — the Ayatollah Khomeini. And now Khomeini’s successor is preparing for nuclear war with Israel and the West.

Part Five Carter’s Red Carpet

On President Jimmy Carter’s watch, more territory was lost to tyranny than at any other time since Yalta. And he’d have us return to those thrilling days of yesteryear.

Part Six: A Feeble President

When men of strength are presented with difficult problems, their responses are firm and decisive. Jimmy Carter spent four years as president of the United States responding with weakness.

Part Seven: Friend Of Dictators

In foreign policy, Jimmy Carter proved his presidency the worst ever by subordinating U.S. interests to his vague “human rights” policy. All he did was enable dictators to take him to the cleaners.

(Side note – In between writing and publishing I came across this article on where the Panama giveaway has taken us today.)

Part Eight: Camp Hype

It’s often asserted that while Jimmy Carter’s presidency was marred by error and incompetence, the peace deal he brokered at Camp David was an unmitigated triumph. Time to pop that bubble, too.

Part Nine: Carter’s Oil Crisis

Of all the errors Jimmy Carter committed, none has earned him more well-justified scorn than his handling of the 1970s energy crisis. True enough, he didn’t cause it. But he did make it much, much worse.

Part Ten: Carrying Over Carter’s Ineptitude

In 1976, Americans thought they were sending an outsider to the White House. Today, the same policies so thoroughly discredited by Jimmy Carter’s disastrous presidency define the Democratic Party.

OK, of all of the parts this last one aged the least well, particularly the critique of John Edwards’ “Spying on Americans”. Hey, I can admit when I’m wrong. I take no shame in admitting it never entered my thought process that we could ever elect a president as malevolent as Barry O who would weaponize the US government against its own citizens – Lois Lerner and the IRS for starters. Then during his third shadow term, we got to absurdity on a Monty Python skit level where Air Marshals were diverted to join the January 6thg Reichstag Fire persecutions, even having an Air Marshal being directed to follow the wife of a fellow Air Marshal. But I digress.

I have to add two of my own moments that erased for me any notions of the “bad President but a decent human being” narrative. The first was  when her used Coretta Scott King’s Funeral to trash Dubya while Dubya was sitting right behind him and couldn’t respond. At the time Bill O’ Reilly wrote a good response. Then in 2019 he publicly parroted the Blue Anon conspiracy theory that President Trump’s first term was somehow illegitimate because or “Russian Interference”. And while Carter’s work with Habitat for Humanity was commendable, it doesn’t erase how much misery his presidency brought to the world.

I know, it’s wrong to speak ill of the recently deceased, and while I agree with that sentiment, those days have passed. For that matter, even the Radical Leftist bomb thrower cartoonist Ted Rall took a blowtorch to Carter’s legacy.  When we’re at a point culturally of it being mainstream Democrat thought to cheer on the assassination of a husband and father of young kids because they’re mad how Barry O took a blowtorch to our health care industry, that’s a problem. As Kurt Schlichter often points out in his columns, I’m just playing by the new rules. I like the old rules better, but until The Radical Left feels enough pain they’ll have no incentive to change. So this is where we are, and frankly, looking at how Carter planted so many seeds of today’s Radical Left, this feels like a fitting tribute.

Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi was overthrown by Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini in 1979 because Jimmy Carter was weak.

People wonder how a revolution about “social injustice” led to the total hair covering of all females over the age of six in Iran.

That weird ayatollah believed he could legislate morality.
He felt that by covering all women and marginalizing their voices men could carry on raping them and it would be justified as they saw a wisp of hair.
He alleged that women’s hair had supernatural power over men that took away their free will, forcing them to become sexual beasts.
So, it was all the women’s fault.
And it spread all over into many islamic countries.

What he did is what our own libs are doing by decriminalizing so much crime; making it look like crime is down by lack of policing wrongdoing.

And Pea-Brain Carter was comparing the Trump election of 2016 to Jim Jones from Americas 3rd Worst President who did more for America then he ever did and remember him pulling America out of the Olympics?

In view of what Trump faced in 2017, I’ve been thinking maybe the same force faced Carter. Democrat Presidents are supposed to play along. Maybe all that was left was the worst of Carter’s intuition, which sucked. Subsequently, taking all the criticisms of the (up to that time, before Obama and Biden) worst President ever, he turned into the bitter, lying, vindictive crybaby along with the rest of the left.

Who can take over the Democrat party and turn it into a party that serves Americans?

Robin Ware/Robert L. Peters/JRB Ware/Pedo Peter/idiot Biden is certainly striking a blow against any resurrection of the party with his awards. Imagine giving an award to someone that exposed State Department classified information to adversaries, raked in millions from disaster relief, destroyed the nation of Libya and got our consulate in Benghazi sacked. Or, awarding Soros for destroying law enforcement and destroying currencies of nations around the world, not to mention a Nazi sympathizer. It’s like Robin Ware/Robert L. Peters/JRB Ware/Pedo Peter/idiot Biden is saying, “Well, if I’m the worst President in history, I’ll make sure NO ONE ever surpasses my expressed hatred for this nation!”

Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller should get the award. THERE’S a guy that sacrificed to stand up for the truth. But, that’s the kind of guy the Democrats specifically hate.
