Where have you been, William Webster?
William Webster, former director both the CIA and FBi weighed in on some of Trump’s nominations.
A former director of the CIA and FBI penned a letter expressing concerns over President-elect Donald Trump’s picks of Tulsi Gabbard and Kash Patel to lead intelligence agencies.
William Webster, a Republican, is the only person to have led both the CIA and FBI, serving under the administrations of former Presidents Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan. In a letter to senators on Thursday, Webster expressed concern about Gabbard becoming the next director of national intelligence and Patel being the next FBI director, arguing they do not meet the needs of such posts.
“While Mr. Patel’s intelligence and patriotism are commendable, his close political alignment with President Trump raises serious concerns about impartiality and integrity,” Webster wrote. “Statements such as ‘He’s my intel guy’ and his record of executing the president’s directives suggest a loyalty to individuals rather than the rule of law — a dangerous precedent for an agency tasked with impartial enforcement of justice.”
Impartial? Impartial went out the window a long time ago. And that’s the thing. Where has he been? He wasn’t kind to Gabbard either.
“Effective management of our intelligence community requires unparalleled expertise to navigate the complexities of global threats and to maintain the trust of allied nations,” Webster, 100, wrote. “Without that trust, our ability to safeguard sensitive secrets and collaborate internationally is severely diminished. … This is no time in world history for a novice in the field to learn this role.”
Kash Patel worked in the Obama administration. Gabbard has been in the military for 20 years.
“Effective management of our intelligence community requires unparalleled expertise to navigate the complexities of global threats”
This sounds like gobbledygook. And this really gets me-
“While Mr. Patel’s intelligence and patriotism are commendable, his close political alignment with President Trump raises serious concerns about impartiality and integrity,”
He’s suggesting that Patel is patriotic but is lacking integrity???? Let’s have at some of this BS. Webster endorsed Biden, for one, but there are a million questions he should address.
Where was Webster when John Brennan was spying on Congress and lying about it?
Where was Webster when Biden signaled Garland to prosecute Trump?
Where was Webster when the FBI abused FISA 278,000 times?
Where was Webster when Obama had Trump tower bugged?
Where was Webster when Strzok and Page promised to stop Trump from being elected?
Where was Webster when Strzok opened a full-blown counterintelligence operation on Trump based on nothing?
Where was Webster when Comey was lying to Congress and leaked classified documents?
Where was Webster when the FBI knew the Hunter Biden laptop was real in 2019 and sat on it in order to support Biden?
Where was Webster while the FBI was hunting down peaceful Jan 6 protesters while Tren de Aragua takes control of US cities and towns?
Where was Webster when the FBI was targeting PTA moms and churches?
We really don’t even need someone who knows what’s going on, as proven by Christopher Wray.
It’s not hard to identify the deep state bad actors. They are the ones claiming to want to save democracy and our institutions when it is they who are the real danger. In this critique, Webster admits that he is one of them.
I am convinced that Patel, Gabbard and Ratcliffe are desperately needed to clean house and restore trust in our intelligence institutions.

Except for liberals being foolish.
In your mind, what is the distinction between a minion of the Deep State and an average bureaucratic functionary?
And the Dip-Wads who still depend upon the M.S. Media for their News
One that works to further their own agenda vs those who set their personal politics aside and simply does their job.
Lacks the necessary experience
Equals
Not another one of the Corruptocrats
While Webster might be worried that Trump is selecting people he can trust, people “loyal” to him, it’s important to note how vital it is to have people in those positions that will not actively work to undercut and subvert the duly and lawfully elected President of the United States. This is what the establishment and/or deep state really want: nominees picked from the pool (cess) of deep state loyal actors that will undercut any agenda that does not promote the establishment.
What the left fears, especially after such a vivid demonstration of how leftism fails, is a demonstration of the benefits of an administration that works for the good of the people and the nation. That could really catch on and become popular and it would destroy the “grab it while you can” culture that exists and dominates today.
