Donald Trump is no fool. After a brilliant campaign, he has proved that he has learned. No more will he take the advice of the establishment advisers. No more generals as chief of staff. He has surrounded himself with insiders who have his best interest at heart as well as the best interest of the country as opposed to having those around him who sought only to take him down.
The key nominations for his administration so far are John Ratcliffe for CIA, Pam Bondi for Attorney General and now Kast Patel for head of the FBI.
He is well qualified
Kash is a fantastic choice. Whilliam Shipley:
Kash Patel has a lengthy resume of achievement over the past 20 years that is more than enough to support his nomination. He has not held some of the more traditional positions that can lead to the Director’s post but he has a breadth of experience that crosses many of the subjects that a Director must confront. I have much more confidence in someone like Kash who is NOT a bureaucratic rung climber like Andy McCabe.
His lack of apprenticeship in the more traditional positions is a feature of his appointment, not a bug. But he is going to need a very strong team around him because the upper level bureaucracy of the FBI are all rung climbing careerists. He’ll pick his own General Counsel and a Senior Counsel or 3 to work at his side. Some of the other management positions will be filled by FBI management and making careful selections in those posts is critical. If he does empty out FBIHQ of senior managers he’ll be able to bring the work done in the Field Offices under closer scrutiny.
Traditionally the leader in every Field Office was the SAC. There was a level of management in HQ but the Director had regular interaction with the 54 SACs. With the creation and proliferation of “Assistant Directors” at HQ and in the Field Offices, there is another layer of bureaucratic shuffle between the Director and the SACs. Patel should return the structure to its former arrangement. 54 SACs are responsible that all that goes on in their offices, and there is minimal bureaucracy between the Director and those SACs. The bureaucracy that is left in place should serve the Director and not the SACs. Everyone in management over the age of 50 is eligible to retire. They should be reviewed one-by-one for a determination of whether the @choice should be forced into retirement.
Kash has offered some of his ideas for the job
“I’d shut down the FBI Hoover Building on day one and reopen it the next day as a museum of the Deep State. Then, I’d take the 7,000 employees that work in that building and send them across America to chase down criminals. Go be cops. You’re cops—go be cops.” “Every agency and department that I’ve ever worked for, when it comes to the fiscal end of the year, they’re like, go on trips, go spend money. What? Just give it back to Congress. We can’t do that.”
He said he would work to get Epstein’s list released. I am looking forward to his being in office.

Here Kash speaks of how badly he and his appointees were treated
January 31, 2021. Kash Patel talks about the nasty, vindictive actions taken against him and others within the first week of Biden being in office.
“Their call for unity is a joke.”

One of his biggest concerns is the two tiered justice system:
Kash Patel says his biggest concern is the two-tiered system of justice:

Kash on Ray Epps:
“Ray Epps was on FBI’s most wanted list one day, and the next day he was off. There are only two ways that happens: you die, or you are an informant.”
Perhaps the best argument for Kash is how the left wing heads are exploding.

This might be my favorite objection- Jamie Ratskin:

Disgraced and terminated former FBI AD Andrew McCabe warns us about Kash:
Former deputy FBI director Andrew McCabe rushes to CNN to whine about how “dangerous” Trump’s nomination of Kash Patel is, says it’s “terrible” for the “men and women” of the FBI. Amazing. “It’s a terrible development for the men and women of the FBI and also for the nation that depends on a highly functioning, professional, independent FBI.” “The fact that Kash Patel is profoundly unqualified for this job is not even like a matter for debate.” “What we should really be thinking about right now is what does this signal in terms of Donald Trump’s intent for the FBI?”
Trump’s intent for the FBI? The FBI who had informants in the Jan 6 crowd instigating violence? The FBI who won’t tell us how many there were? The FBI that targeted Catholic churches and PTA Moms? The FBI who KNEW the Hunter Biden laptop was real and sat on it to harm Trump? The FBI whose director won’t come clean about anything and has repeatedly lied under oath? This FBI?
Yeah, THAT FBI. Trump will not trust the FBI, which plotted against him from day one, to vet his nominees. He will use private security firms instead. It is proof how well Trump has learned his lesson. Kash is a great choice. The more whining I hear, the bigger my smile.
Kash Patel will seek justice, not revenge, and the left is scared merdeless.
I can’t wait.

In addition to clinical practice he has done extensive research and has published widely with over 70 original articles and abstracts in the peer-reviewed literature. DrJohn is well known in his field and has lectured on every continent except for Antarctica. DrJohn was brought up with the concept that one can do well if one is prepared to work hard but nothing in life is guaranteed.
Except for liberals being foolish.
Please tell us who his appointment is “terrible” for and why. This would save a LOT of time.
Anyone that votes against Patel is on Epstein’s list.
Hunter is off the hook full pardon for crimes 2014 forward, 2014 the year of the Ukraine coup. I guess they can admit openly it was his blow in the White House.
Lets get the FBI back to what J. Edgar Hoover created it to be back to defending America and ending this UN/CFR sponsored Invasion
