Under Biden/Harris. there have been 12.5 million illegal border crossings.  We also learned the magnitude of the problem Harris has created.

The letter, released on Friday, states that there are 13,099 non-detained non-citizens with murder convictions, 15,811 with sexual offense convictions and 425,431 convicted criminals.

There are 222,141 total non-detained non-citizens with pending criminal charges. Of that total, there are 1,845 with homicide charges and 4,250 with pending sexual assault charges.

Biden/Harris not only allowed this to happen, but they also fought every effort to stop the invasion.

They sued Texas repeatedly

The Biden administration on Monday filed a lawsuit against Texas over floating barriers that state officials have deployed in the middle of the Rio Grande, seeking to force the state to remove the buoys that federal officials argue have endangered migrants and Border Patrol agents alike.

 

Oddly, as the 2024 election nears, the border is no longer secure, and Kamala Harris promises to fix the problem she created.  Joe Biden had already begun trying to soften the immigration blow.

The Biden administration’s use of humanitarian parole to bring in migrants through “lawful pathways” as a strategy to end the crisis at the southern border remains under scrutiny amid an ongoing debate about Haitian migration — and as officials reveal how many have been allowed in under the programs.

The Biden administration, as it sought to control a spiraling border crisis last year, expanded two avenues for migrants to enter legally and be paroled into the U.S. One allows migrants to schedule appointments at the ports of entry using the CBP One app, and allows up to 1,450 migrants to enter daily.

The other is the parole processes for Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans and Venezuelans. Under that program, migrants with sponsors can apply for authorization without heading to the border and fly or transport themselves into the U.S. once approved and vetted. Up to 30,000 a month are allowed in under that program.

So, nothing changes.

But Harris now promises to get tough on the border. To prove it, she visited the border for a whole 25 minutes two days ago. The CBP was having none of it.

Harris now promises to get tough on fentanyl:

“I am on my way back to Arizona for official briefings on the latest work to secure the southern border and operations to stop the flow of illegal fentanyl into our country,” Harris posted to X.

Fact: Over 250,000 have died from fentanyl overdose under Harris.

Her economic plan is basically a polished Biden turd:

“Harris isn’t going to stray very far from current Biden policies,” Ryan Young, a senior economist for the Competitive Enterprise Institute, told the Daily Caller News Foundation. “She is trying to steer a middle course between carving out her own identity, but without implying that Biden has pushed bad policies, which she has been promoting for the last four years.”

Harris aims to “[make] corporations and the wealthiest Americans pay their fair share in taxes,” something she plans to do by essentially replicating the $5 trillion tax hike that Biden’s fiscal year 2024 budget request called for. Some of Harris’ “common sense” reforms that would fuel this tax hike include a 25% unrealized capital gains tax for high-earning Americans and a top capital gains tax rate of 33%, an aggressive-but-less-ambitious alternative to the 44.6% rate that Biden has proposed.

Though she touts the very mis-named Inflation Reduction Act it benefited the well off:

Beyond hundreds of billions of dollars to subsidize the green energy industry, the IRA also features tax credits that Americans can claim to install things like heat pumps and rooftop solar in their homes.

Harris touts these credits in her new plan, stating that they allowed “more than 3.4 million American families [to save] $8.4 billion in 2023.” Missing from the economic plan is the fact that more than half of those savings were claimed by people making more than $100,000, and that six-figure-plus earners were over three times more likely to claim the credits, according to Internal Revenue Service data.

She’s going to make billionaires pay their fair share. I’ve seen the commercial four times during the football game I have on.

To do this, Harris proposes a minimum income tax for billionaires—at an amount yet to be disclosed—and “commonsense tax reforms for corporations.”

An amount yet to be disclosed. The billionaires supporting Harris obviously do not believe this for a second. Neither do I.

But there’s something that needs to be strongly emphasized. Joe Biden clearly stated that Harris was in control of a lot of their policies.

President Biden praised his Vice President Kamala Harris for handling “everything from foreign policy to domestic policy” under his administration as her campaign struggles to cast her as a “change” candidate and not an extension of the Biden presidency.

In an interview on “The View” Wednesday, Biden discussed Harris’ credentials as his potential successor after “The View” co-host Sunny Hostin asked what advice he gave the vice president to defeat former President Trump in November.

And this is key:

“…as vice president, there wasn’t a single thing that I did that she couldn’t do. And so I was able to delegate [to] her responsibility on everything from foreign policy to domestic policy,“

So, Biden put much in her hands. And that begs a couple of questions about her plans that Harris should be asked anywhere and everywhere she goes, and it doesn’t matter what the topic is:

• Why haven’t you done this already?
• Why aren’t you doing all this now?

But it’s Byron York said:

It appears Kamala Harris will travel to the border today and tell everyone that the last four years didn’t happen.

 

 

 

But they did happen, and Harris had a big role in them.
