Looking for something non debate related? Well step right up and have a seat! A few weeks ago Mollie Hemingway did some of her usual excellent work over at The Federalist about how J.D. Vance’s D.C. Suburb Is Only ‘Hate-Free’ If You Agree With Democrat Authoritarians. To quickly summarize:
When the Ohio Republican moved his family to the neighborhood following his 2022 election, the supposedly quiet, charming, and tolerant neighbors of Del Ray put signs in front of his house letting him know that he and his family were not welcome.
The Ku Klux Klan used burning crosses to get their “you’re not welcome here” message across, but the Del Ray citizens use “yarn bombing.” The neighbors knit kitschy signs promoting abortion, bisexuality, transexuality, and homosexuality and placed them on poles outside the Vance home.
The neighbors posted on Facebook their delight at the attack on the family, calling them “not so welcome signs.” Charming, indeed!
I’m sure this surprises nobody. Having lived in the DC area for as long as I have, I’ve gone out in Del Ray and have had friends who’ve lived there. It’s appearance definitely fits the “charming neighborhood” moniker, which makes it such as shame how the Radicals treat anyone who does not march in lockstep with them.
In other news, Jerry Wilson over at Red State reports that Washington Commanders Executive Suspended Following On-Camera Trashing of Players, Fans, and NFL Leaders. OK, right off the bat I have to call out Wilson for dead naming The Washington Redskins. I refuse to use the new name, simply using a more appropriate nickname, “The Commies.” Of course, as someone who was an Eagles fan back when I still followed the NFL, I had a much less flattering name for the Redskins an old buddy of mine coined. It’s best to not print it here, but I’ll offer the hint that it’s something associated with circumcisions. But I digress. Back to the point:
Conservative guerrilla journalist James O’Keefe has claimed another scalp. Ironically, this time it is from a professional sports franchise that recently changed its name to avoid association with, among other things, scalping.
Rael Enteen, Vice President of Content for the Washington Commanders, has been suspended by the team following O’Keefe’s September 4, 2024, release of Enteen captured on video maligning white and black players on the team, its fans, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, and Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones. Enteen’s comments include accusations of racism, homophobia, and alcoholism.
The footage was captured over the course of two outings by a member of O’Keefe’s organization pretending to be dating Enteen. To put it mildly, what came out of Enteen’s mouth during the two evenings was astonishing.
The comments were interesting, to say the least. Some cheered on the expose, while others objected. A comment that got 23 upvotes from a commenter “Minister of War” had this to say:
This is kind of messed up. I’m not sure what the point is of O’Keefe going after this guy. Enteen was just stating his opinions. To my knowledge, Enteen is not a public figure. He doesn’t set any kind of public or political policy & his honest opinions may even have some validity to them, even if they make the Redskins & the NFL squirm a little bit. Even the ones that don’t, at least he seems to think things through, even while I wouldn’t agree with him. I just don’t see the point in ruining this dude’s life & career for no reason at all when he doesn’t even seem to be the real target of O’Keefe’s fire here.
I have to admit, that was kind of my reaction as well. This particular video felt like O’Keefe is really reaching for material. Despite what I just said, I fully support what O’Keefe did. Why?
Because The Radical Left has taken cancel culture to ridiculous levels (see the Vance story), and the only path I see to ending it is Scorched Earth. Success will be seen in three stages:
1) Cancel culture isn’t happening! (to a degree we’re already there, or as one Hollywood idiot dubbed it, “Consequence culture”)
2) When they start saying “Cancel culture is really a Conservative idea!” we’ll know we’re making progress.
3) They’ll admit that they’re wrong when they say “Both sides need to stop!”
I’m fine with a solution other than scorched earth, but the “We’re better then that” argument only means we get more of it. I absolutely agree that we need to be careful about raising the temperature with the few remaining sane Democrats, but for the psychos I cited at the top of this post, we’re already engaged in a cold war with them. Let them taste consequence culture. It’s a shame that on the anniversary of 9/11 we’re seeing one political party committed to destroying this country, and yet here we are.

Perhaps my favorite massively hypocritical lie the Democrats routinely make believe they believe we believe is how they want to “unite” the country and eliminate divisiveness. There would probably be next to ZERO hostility were the left to stop trying crush anyone that will not submit to their philosophy. So, their idea of “uniting” us is to force all opposition to submit and become subservient. No clues as to whether we would be forgiven for not being believers from the beginning.
