On August 26, 2021, 13 service members were killed by bomb during the Biden/Harris panic withdrawal from Afghanistan. Three years later Gold Star families invited Donald Trump to participate in commemoration of their losses.
Kamala Harris took a cheap shot at Trump for his visit:
Vice President Kamala Harris slammed former President Donald Trump’s controversial photo-op at Arlington National Cemetery with Gold Star families on Monday, claiming he “disrespected sacred ground.”
Even though he was invited by Gold Star families, Democratic presidential nominee accused Trump of staging a “political stunt” after his campaign staff got into an altercation with a cemetery employee who tried to stop them from filming and photographing a wreath-laying ceremony in Section 60 — the burial site for military personnel killed while fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq.
“It is not a place for politics,” Harris said in lengthy a statement posted on social media Saturday afternoon.
“Let me be clear: the former president disrespected sacred ground, all for the sake of a political stunt,” she continued.
This didn’t sit well with the Gold Star families at all. They issued a video in response:

There was a claim of an altercation. Tulia Gabbard didn’t see it and she was there:
“I was there from the beginning, with the laying of the wreaths with the family members… I was with them at Section 60 and what I saw was a very grave and somber remembrance and honoring of those lives that were lost. And I saw President Trump spending time — at the invitation of these Gold Star families, with them. He was there for a few hours. I did not see or hear about any kind of altercation until something came out in the news later on.”
But it doesn’t end there. Sen. Tom Cotton was on Meet the Press and had a conversation about this with left wing host Kristin Welker

But if you listen very carefully, you can head Welker claim that Harris was at the dignified transfer of the remains of the deceased service members. Here is that exchange
She never has spoken to them or taken a meeting with them,” Cotton told Welker. “It is because of her and Joe Biden’s incompetence that those 13 Americans were killed in Afghanistan.”
“They did meet them during the dignified transfer. They were with them at the dignified transfer,” Welker interjected.
That is a lie. Harris was not present. Later NBC would attempt to retract that lie and wound up replacing it with another lie
Welker implied nothing. She flat out said Harris was in attendance. That is not an implication. It was what we in research call an assertion of fact, and the fact is it was a lie. Trump listened to them. Trump spent time with them.
How did the media portray this?
So, we have numerous shameful casualties- Harris, Welker and NBC. Harris wasn’t there, but Joe Biden was.

Harris and Biden could not care less about the lives of the 13 soldiers killed during the botched, chaotic, disastrous Afghanistan cut and run ordered by Harris-Biden and implemented by Harris-Biden wokified, rainbow DEI military command structure. And obviously they have zero respect for the Gold Star families.
So now, after their attempt to turn Trump consoling the families of the 13 fallen military that the Robin Ware/Robert L. Peters/JRB Ware/Pedo Peter/idiot Biden regime got killed (and Trump always mentions those wounded, as well) into a political gotcha, now they are basically calling the Gold Star Families liars. THAT’S what the left thinks of our military, the veterans, the fallen and the families and loved ones.
This wasn’t political until the Democrats made it political.
Just one other thought here. although I have been losing respect for Bush in every passing month, let’s not forget that he did in fact respect our service men and women. Yet he took horrible abuse form the left when after he was out of office, he would be at the airport when our dead servicemen would come home, No publicity, just honor. But of course, the left vilified it and called it an affront against Comrade Obama. Some things never change as to these disgusting leftist jerks
The left wants nothing but disrespect for the military to be expressed and when some show their patriotism and respect, they try to denounce it.
