Kamala Harris unveils her socialist economic policy agenda

It’s no wonder Kamala Harris has been hiding from the press.

The most liberal Senator/VP in the history of this country has just released her economic agenda and it’s everything you’d expect from a far left socialist.  Via Kyle Griffin on X

* Eliminating medical debt for millions of Americans

* A ban on price gouging for groceries and food

* A cap on prescription drug costs

* A $25,000 subsidy for first-time homebuyers

* A Child Tax Credit that would provide $6,000 per child to families for the first year of a baby’s life

That first one is staggering. Medical debt at the moment stands at $88 billion. A couple of questions come to mind:

  • How will this be paid for?
  • Who will pay for that debt?

Simple erasure of the debt with the wave of a hand will see the health care system collapse. No one will choose to pay their debts. Thus, the costs are likely to be socialized. Everyone will pay.

The second one, as we have discussed, will make food scarce.

The notion of a cap on prescription drugs is an idea taken from the Biden administration, who waited more than three years to act on this. On the surface this sounds great but there are downsides:

While intentions for price controls and reporting requirements may be good, outcomes would be quite grim. Experience from countries with more bureaucracy in healthcare has demonstrated price controls and the like neither reduce healthcare spending nor increase healthcare access. Rather, these regulations stifle innovation in the pharmaceutical industry, create drug shortages, and ultimately lead to fewer choices for consumers and patients.

Producing a therapeutic drug is not easy:

Drug development is a long and expensive endeavor: it takes about 12 years for a drug to move from preclinical testing to final approval. It is estimated that it costs approximately $3 billion to develop a new drug, taking into account the high failure rate, wherein only 10–20% of drugs tested are successful and reach the market.

Financial pressure from price controls will push drug production further overseas and make the US drug supply chain even more dependent on foreign venues such as China.

A $25,000 subsidy for first time home buyers will drive prices up by $25,000 immediately. Coupled with an 8% mortgage rate it makes no sense whatsoever.

There already is a child tax credit of $2000. Vance wanted it boosted to $5000. This is one more idea stolen from the Trump/Vance campaign.

Over at CNBC they weren’t very enthusiastic.

Vance also suggests a lower tax rate for families with children

This is crucial to the survival of the Social Security system. The others represent a monumental cost and concomitant increase in inflation.

We’re looking at $2 trillion deficits right now. Harris would only hasten our economic collapse.

How about a return to the U.S. Constitution and ending American membership in the United Nations we don’t need other Nations telling us what to do

Entire speech based on a straw man fallacy.*
She keeps basing it on fighting the 2025 think tank position paper, not what Donald Trump is talking about.

Promising 3 million new homes built (on federal land, btw) doesn’t even keep us above water considering all the illegals she’s let in. Well over ten million peple!

She will find that her promises run her out of other people’s money pretty quick…..IF she even bothered to try to do it all.

But, whatever she promises, why not start NOW????

Her housing initiative sounds more like a re-warming of the Community Reinvestment Act, getting people that can’t afford homes committed to them. This is always the Democrat’s solution to the problems they’ve caused. Housing has become too expensive, so here… here’s a one-time cash infusion to get you by for a little while. Their economies cannot produce anything but shitty, low paying and part-time jobs, so here… we’ll just jack up the wages on shitty jobs (which eliminates even the shitty jobs). As always, failure ensues.

They wont be houses they will be projects, like in Chicago, how did that work out? A cow cant graze on Public land because of a tortoise, but plowing all the the fauna under for housing for illegals who may hunt and eat all the rare animals, lease it back to the ranchers.

I have been closely watching the way the Harris/Walz campaign curates public appearances of Kamala and Tim interacting.

It is increasingly obvious to me that they are trying to play out the tired trope of every TV sitcom of the past 20 years. You know what I am talking about; it’s the goofy, incompetent supporting male character who always has to be saved from himself by the sassy, super-woman female lead character. Those are the roles they are playing for America.

I’m certain this is a deliberate rhetorical tactic.

I’m sure it appeals to the winebox Karens and emasculated Evans who constitute the Democrat base, but this will have the opposite effect on single males with normal T-levels and married husbands and wives who respect each other, who will each be repelled and disgusted by what these messages are trying to convey.

Kamala wants to test those who would qualify.
They must be first time home buyers.
They ought to be the first home buyer IN THEIR FAMILY – EVER.
They must have kept current on their rent for two years.

Who fits that bill better than Kamala’s 10 million illegals?
A reward for their vote for her.
Sure, it “traps” them into paying for a home forever, but she’s only thinking it thru the election, nothing after that matters.
Anyway, if it took $9 billion to build 8 EV chargers in 3+ years, it will never happen anyway.
“Words, just words,” to quote Obama who stole it from Deval Patrick.

The Democrat party twice manipulated the Presidential primaries to shut Bernie out because he was too socialist, too radical, too far left for the US public to abide. How can it be that they are now unleashing all the same socialist garbage now via Kamala’s agenda? Do they suddenly think the US general public has turned Marxist? Or, do they think wrapping this soviet package in a “black” woman wrapper will get it over the finish line? What in the HELL are they thinking?

Kamala keeps touting “tax credits,” for this and that.
But, to get a tax credit, you have to have a job paying enough to even pay more taxes than the credit.
And the job’s numbers have just been revised.
Guess what happened to her (and joe’s) “recovery?”

Everyone will have a clear choice this election. The numbers will tell us where we are at as a country and how bright our future is. Communists and socialists have Harris/Walz. Traditional liberals have RFK Jr. The rest will have Trump/Vance. If we are to have any type of a bright future, the vote totals of Trump/Vance and RFK Jr. will need to be somewhere around 60%. The farther away we are from missing that mark, the more bleak the outlook for the country is.
