Elon Musk Is Right That Twitter Should Follow the First Amendment

It’s no exaggeration to assert that Musk saved free speech with X but it remains under attack here and abroad.  There appears to be a worldwide effort to stifle free speech, in Canada and especially in the UK.

This is the state of affairs in Britain today. There is no First Amendment in the UK and this is the consequence of not having one. Brits are under attack by their own government for “wrongthink”, meaning any opinion divergent from the state position.  And, much like the Russians and the Chinese, they’re imprisoning the dissidents. Fascism reigns.

The plan is to export this fascism worldwide.

But speech spreading false rumors is allowed

Rumors are magically spread and a response is mounted

Tim Walz has made very clear his position – he is all for fascism. Following the UK, Harris and Walz will launch a war on your First Amendment rights if elected.

If not for Elon Musk, the world would not know any of this.

The Harris/Walz war on free speech will be virtually identical to the British model. Oh, but the Constitution, you say.

We’ve already seen Biden be very dismissive of the Supreme Court. We’ve seen 6th and 14th Amendments utterly crushed for the Jan 6 protesters. Right may eventually prevail, but it could cost many lost years as has happened already.

Biden/Harris has already conducted war on free speech.

This past Independence Day, a U.S. federal judge in Missouri v. Biden found that the Biden Administration violated Americans’ First Amendment rights in urging social media companies to censor opinions. It also found that the Administration had funded universities and non-governmental organizations to create a veritable hit list of censorship, which it used to tell social media companies which people and ideas to deboost and censor.

Citing the need to censor speech as the only way to protect the American public, the Biden Administration told the court that it is too dangerous to apply the First Amendment to social media posts, given the depredations of sorting through misinformation from foreign states, political actors, or cranks.

The court was not impressed, and issued a preliminary injunction telling the Biden Administration it could no longer coerce Facebook, Twitter/X, and the like to censor users, because doing so violated the First Amendment. Under the order, the Administration also could not engage third parties to craft its censorship agenda. The court excoriated the Biden Administration for establishing an “Orwellian Ministry of Truth” in its zeal for censorship.

How will they crush free speech?

Via digital currency. The elimination of cash. CBDC

Biden was in the planning stages of herding the US toward a digital dollar.

A U.S. digital currency could be on the horizon. The Biden administration is putting its support behind the research and development of a “U.S. Central Bank Digital Currency,” or CBDC.

The move is part of a sweeping executive order President Joe Biden signed Wednesday instructing the federal government to explore possible uses of and regulations for digital assets like cryptocurrencies.

Digital currency is a direct threat to freedom and democracy in this country.

Digital currency issued by a central bank can be used as a tool for government surveillance of citizens and control over their financial transactions. This has been a concern with China’s digital currency, which is in early stages of rollout. As Akram Keram, an expert on China at the National Endowment for Democracy, wrote last year, “With digital yuan, the CCP [Chinese Communist Party] will have direct control over and access to the financial lives of individuals, without the need to strong-arm intermediary financial entities. In a digital-yuan-consumed society, the government easily could suspend the digital wallets of dissidents and human rights activists, for example.”

It can be used to control what you purchase.

Canada has used this to control dissent

Canadian banks have begun freezing the accounts of people linked to the trucker protests in Canada and the federal government is promising to take more accounts offline in coming days in an attempt to clear demonstrators from Ottawa, which has been occupied for nearly a month.

On February 17, Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland said in a press conference that financial institutions have started freezing accounts and canceling credit cards in accordance with the Emergencies Act, which Prime Minister Justin Trudeau invoked earlier this week.

The powers granted by the act would allow banks to target the accounts of people who have donated to crowdfunding platforms, like the fundraising campaigns on GoFundMe and GiveSendGo, that have fueled the ongoing protests, but Freeland said she would not give “specifics of whose accounts are being frozen.”

It was Obama who had the IRS target conservatives. It was Biden who manipulated social media to censor conservative free speech.  It is not hard to believe that Harris would continue that legacy. Were democrats to take all three parts of government freedom would be on chopping block.

Naturally, the free speech targeted would be solely that associated with conservatives.

Musk purports to be a “free-speech absolutist,” but he doesn’t practice what he preaches on Twitter. For example, the words “cis” and “cisgender” can get your post deleted, as Musk says they are slurs.

Sorry, but Musk has always said that he will control content. He just won’t censor political positions or scientific facts, like the left did.

Kamala claims she’s black.
One thing about speech, some groups can say certain things and it’s OK while others can say the same things and it’s not OK.
Have Kamala address a black crowd and sprinkle in the n-word, repeatedly, like blacks say around one another.
If her poll numbers from blacks go up as a result, she’s black.
If not…..
