The Swamp fears Donald Trump, With Good Reason

Loading

As we all know, Democrats and the Swamp hate Donald Trump.  They probably hate him more than any president ever.  Those elites, including celebrities, journalists, and politicians, used to love Trump, with thousands of them smiling and taking pictures of him over the years. But not anymore.

All of that changed in 2015 when he decided to run for president.  It wasn’t that he was running for president that made him enemy number one, but rather because he was running for president as a Republican.

But of course, being a Republican wasn’t always the polarizing factor that it became in 2015 and beyond.  Sure, the media disliked Bush, McCain, and Romney, but they were OK because they were all within the acceptable limits of what could be tolerated and controlled.  Trump was and is something altogether different.

To understand why he was and is different, look at the people at the heart of the Swamp, the government.

Nancy Pelosi, is 84 years old with 47 years in politics & government, a Political Science major with no experience in the private sector.

Chuck Schumer, 74 years old, 49 years in government, a lawyer with no private sector experience.

Hakeem Jeffries, 54 years old, 17 years in govt. A lawyer with no private sector experience.

Joe Biden, 82 years old, 50 years in government, a lawyer with zero private sector experience.

Bernie Sanders, 83 years old, 53 of which were in politics and government, a Political Science major who held a smattering of odd jobs prior to joining government.

Adam Schiff, a 64 year old lawyer who’s spent 38 years in government with zero private sector experience.

Pete Buttigieg, 42 years old, 12 years in government, a Political Science major who spent 3 years working for consulting giant McKinsey & Co. mostly working with NGOs and corporations.  He was in the Navy and did a stint in Afghanistan.

AOC is a 35 year old Econ and International Relations major who’s spent 8 years in government and whose private sector experience is that of a bartender.

Gavin Newsom, a 57 year old Political Science major who’s spent 27 years in government and who in 1992 was brought in by his friend, Gordon Getty, as the co-founder of PlumpJack Winery in Napa, California.

Elizabeth Warren, a 75 year old lawyer who’s spent 30 years in government and has zero private sector experience.

And it’s not just Democrats…

Mitch McConnell is an 82 year old lawyer who’s spent 50 years in government and never held a private sector job.

Kevin McCarthy is a 59 year old MBA who worked in government for 37 years and sold sandwiches out of his uncle’s yogurt shop while in college.

Paul Ryan is a 54 year old Political Science and Economics graduate who spent 28 years in government before retiring to become a lobbyist in 2019.  He was a waiter and fitness trainer in college.

So there you have it, of the dozen or so most powerful people in American government & politics, only one has any real experience in running a business (Newsom) and that business was funded by one of the richest men in the world at the time.  But somehow they’re the ones making the laws that increasingly impact the businesses that employ every American, and indeed the lives and communities of every single American.

For these people, government is virtually everything in life.  For most of them, they know nothing about the private sector, the thing that powers America.  They know nothing about running a business, creating jobs, meeting payroll, and perhaps most importantly, doing all of those things while risking everything and while trying to abide by a stultifying labyrinth of ever changing government regulations from an endless array of agencies.

None of them, aside from Newsom, has built anything of any consequence.  They have no experience of what it’s like to be in business, where 86% of employed Americans work, run a business or be an entrepreneur, the economic fount of America. For most of their adult lives none of them had to worry about the solvency of their next paycheck. Their healthcare plans and those of their families and their employee’s families weren’t resting on their success.  They’ve not had to worry about selling enough products or services in order to keep the lights on, the employees’ paid and fresh product on the shelves or services in the pipeline.  Worrying about and conquering those pressures are what created America’s prosperity. Those are the things that fund the paychecks Americans pay taxes out of that the government turns around and redistributes.  Those are the things that make most Americans’ lives better than those of almost every person in human history. It’s those things, not the government…and the people arrayed against Donald Trump have virtually no experience with any of it.

But Trump, he has it in spades.  He’s built giant hotels in the midst of economic turmoil.  He’s done so having to deal with unions, mafia, government regulators, contractors, competitors, bankers and more.  He’s built hotels, golf courses, casinos, apartment buildings, communities, and more around the world.  He owned the Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants.  He was a founding member of the USFL, a competitor to the NFL.  He was the star and producer of The Apprentice, the business-focused reality show that averaged 14 million viewers per episode for its first six years.  Sure, Trump’s had failures, bankruptcies and lots of lawsuits, but you don’t accomplish anything without risking those outcomes.  He’s failed plenty of times, but he’s succeeded far more often.  He’s created companies that have made millions of paycheck deadlines, that have fed tens of thousands of families and have generated billions of dollars in revenue.

Donald Trump accomplishes things.  Not only without government but usually in spite of government.  Maybe the best example of this is his renovation of Wollman Rink, a project that had languished for six years in the hands of the NYC government, who wasted $13 million working unsuccessfully on the project.  Trump completed it in a matter of months, and under budget. And that’s what scares them the most.  The Swamp cannot afford to let Donald Trump, on the world’s biggest stage, show Americans that they don’t need government to succeed, that problems can be solved without government “help” and to demonstrate that many times, government is actually the problem. If you’re in the government business, that’s a bad thing because as anyone who’s ever picked up a history book knows, Americans, when unshackled from government regulation, can do extraordinary things. And once they’re reminded of that, all bets are off.

The last time Trump was president he said he was going to drain the Swamp.  He didn’t. The truth is, he had no idea how deep or wide the Swamp was and is. Most of us didn’t.  Now he does and now we do.  This time he’ll be under no illusions about what he’s up against, and ideally, will act accordingly.  The Swamp knows that. They see the writing on the wall. And it terrifies them.

Never mind that, worry about the asshole we’ve got now who couldn’t pass a security screening.

….or an 8th grade math test.

We are already owning this there are flags T-shirts and hats saying I’m voting for the convicted felon.

“unions, mafia, government regulators”, all the same thing if I’m not mistaken.

I’m still voting for the FELON Greggie, not the psychopathic lying mentally deficient POS that you seem to love.

You are mistaken. You will be no match for America’s billionaires and the profit-driven corporations they control. You will be a disorganized rabble of powerless serfs.

says budlight

I guess you’ve never had an investment or 401k account. Without profit mostly of us couldn’t retire.
Btw when you mention billionaires does that include all the Democrat ones too?

Last edited 26 days ago by Mully

I don’t object to profit. I object to the willingness to do great harm to maximize it. Consider what that did to cities like Detroit. Consider how that moved so many of our manufacturing jobs to China, or the results of Boeing cutting corners. Think about it the next time you have a problem and find yourself speaking to an overseas customer service rep who can hardly communicate in English. Think about how the financial industry crashed the economy by making insanely risky loans to pocket billions, then bundled them into packages they passed on to unsuspecting retirement plan investors using phony safety ratings.

Take away those pesky governmental regulators and the bad actors will destroy everything.

Last edited 26 days ago by Greg

So letting in an unlimited number of illegals who we are told just want to work won’t affect wages? Get a clue.
Also consider how over regulation and high taxes run companies out of the US.
Whereas proper regulation and tax treatment encourages business here.
People like Biden who only know government don’t seem to get that.
Those insane loans were at the impotus of the government. I have friends who are bankers and they are conservative and we have spoken of this before.
A short trip down memory lane, again.

Chevron ruling at Scotus is going to annihilate the regulatory deep state.

The administrative state must be abolished. The states need to recoup the powers under the 10th Amendment that the federal government usurped.

…and then profit greedy corporations will eat you alive. Federal regulation is the only thing that has kept them from doing so.

Chevron ruling at Scotus is going to annihilate the regulatory deep state.

I’m old enough to remember when Obama gave BP a waiver on their blow-out valve on Deepwater Horizon in exchange for their massive campaign contributions. Remember Deepwater Horizon?

Sure thing skipper.

Yep. Sure thing.

I’d rather private business do it. At least they can’t get a dollar out of my pocket without my consent. The government cock you’re sucking, on the other hand, takes what it wants and provides almost nothing in return.

Better than your cult leader’s miniscule member. He’s had a very bad influence on his followers, who can’t even engage in civil discourse anymore.

Almost nothing in return? You take much for granted: Social Security, Medicare, disaster assistance, air traffic control, monitoring for international terrorist threats, public health, public education, food stamps, defense from cyber attacks which could shut the whole damn country down in the blink of an eye, the regulation powerful corporations that don’t give a damn about anything but maximizing profits. They’d pollute the air and water without hesitation were government watchdogs not breathing down their neck.

Take all that away and the people who hate centralized government would be totally f*cked. Unfortunately they’re running on anger, propaganda, and disinformation rather than facts and reason.

So now you are a connoisseur of cock? Suspected it all along.

If Character Matters, Biden Flunks the Test

That’s a stupid statement, made to convince fools that Trump’s character shouldn’t be an issue.

Gateway Pundit:

“When a candidate runs on character, you know his record can’t be good.”

Last edited 26 days ago by Greg

Comrade Greggie, is it your contention that Joe Biden is of high moral character?

biden lacks any resemblance of a person with character. He is the patriarch of a feral pack of dogs.

Compared with Trump, yes, definitely. Trump has no moral compass. He never has.

They’ve both been public figures since the 1970s. You had no idea who Trump was behind the TV screen before he ran, and since then you’ve been running in circles with your hair on fire screaming about the Bad Orange Man with absolutely zero rational justification.

Meanwhile, Joe Biteme has been in elective office since 1972; he showers with his own daughter, he sniffs and gropes children in public, he’s fabulously wealthy on a salary far too small to support it, he and that shithead Kennedy are the ones who turned judicial hearings into the dumpster fires they’ve been since 1987, he’s in on the take, his children are scumbags, he’s literally part of the problem, he’s a stupid son of a bitch even before he went soft in the head….
.
…seriously, “bUt th3 b4D or4nG3 M4n is w0rs3!!11!”

Are you stupid, or just lying?

Trump isn’t corrupt. Trump never raped anyone. Trump doesn’t fondle small children. Trump didn’t force his young daughter to shower with him. Trump didn’t sell out the American people for bribes from foreign governments. Trump didn’t raise a son to be a crack-head, a whore-monger, a human trafficker and to peddle US influence. Trump stands up pretty damned well against Robin Ware/Robert L. Peters/JRB Ware/Pedo Peter/idiot Biden in character.

Gateway Pundit:
“When a candidate runs on character, you know his record can’t be good.”

Well, Robin Ware/Robert L. Peters/JRB Ware/Pedo Peter/idiot Biden’s certainly isn’t.

No its you who are always commenting on the size you fantasize Trumps penis to be.
And yes we laugh at you.

Read back through a few threads and see who usually starts this b.s.

Just like the goddamn “Palestinians,” you are. Start shit, make a mess, cause trouble, then bitch and whine when you get it shoved back at you. Pathetic.

Im sure Curt could pull up dozens of your goofy micro dick posts lil buddy, I called you on it before.
You are obsessed with his penis.

Maybe you could stop talking about it, for starters. And drop the obsessive b.s. about Biden imaginary pedophilia.

While you’re nailing up the Ten Commandments, take a moment to read #4 and #9.

Penile Dysmorphic Disorder | When Size Obsession Gets Out of Hand

And here we thought greg suffered from TDS. It appears he has more than one psychological issue.

Last edited 26 days ago by TrumpWon

If you prefer, in the future I’ll refer to “Dickless Donald” as “Your Cunt of a Cult Leader.”

How about checking how many times DeplorableMe aka Just Plain Bill and TrumpWon have smeared President Biden with pedophilia and child molestation allegations—you know, just to be fair.

Better still, why don’t we all speak like intelligent adults rather than trash-talking like poorly raised children?

Last edited 26 days ago by Greg

You can refer to him however you like. But we now have your history of dick-size preoccupation noted for time immortal.

Being preoccupied with someone’s crimes of child molestation isn’t weird. It’s actually our civic duty to be worried about people who commit these crimes. Obsession with the size of someone’s dick is not a crime but a sure sign of something psychologically wrong.

So be concerned. Look into Matt Gaetz’s little fling with a minor, Trump crashing a teen beauty pageant dressing room, or how pleas from Jimbo Jordan’s wrestling team to protect them from a perverted doctor they were required to see for “examinations” fell on deaf ears. Ask yourselves about Trump’s long relationship with Epstein, or why he rewarded a Alex Acosta with an appointment to Secretary of Labor. Man up, take a wide stance, and look into it.

I would much prefer to focus on issues and legitimate questions, but you can see down below how far that gets.

Last edited 26 days ago by Greg

Oh, I can bring up all kinds of politicians from your side of the aisle who have molested children with the main one being your president (plenty of posts on this blog about them, look them up using the handy dandy search button up top). But this isn’t about politicians, it’s about your obsession with the size of Trump’s dick.

Just admit it man, you want to Hawk Tuah on it:

Your attempt at sidetracking the conversation is weak.

Donald Trump defends size of his penis

When Trump tries this bullshit Thursday, they’ll just kill his mic until it’s his turn to talk.

Trump’s cognitive decline:

And again, you bring up the size of his dick.

WTF man…go see a shrink.

It isn’t about shrinkage…

So, what about those republican privatization schemes? How would that work out for 67 million current retirees? The program would go bust YEARS ahead of schedule. They won’t raise taxes, so what’s the magical MAGA formula for not leaving 67 million people up the creek without a paddle? I would think retired voters would want to know.

I suspect they’d simple let it all go to hell, and try to shift the blame to Democrats. That’s been their standard operating procedure for years.

Last edited 26 days ago by Greg

Fake news.

Trump now leads Biden by 9 pts in Rasmussen poll

It ain’ fake news, Bubba, nor is it a hoss race.

The policies and intentions you’re paying zero attention are all that matters. Both candidates are elderly men who might not make it through a second term. The policies and consequences of of those policies are what we’ll be living with for the rest of our own lives.

Trump is up only nine-tenths of one percentage point in the current national poll average. If you drop out Rasmussen’s 9 point lead—and Rasmussen is ALWAYS skewed to the right—Trump is actually TRAILING Biden.

Two televised debates could determine the outcome of this election.

Last edited 26 days ago by Greg

How will the democrats jettison biden?

SOMEONE really likes dicks…. just sayin’.

Why dont you let it go you sound like a raging twink.

None of those myths have ever been corroborated skipper.

Speaking of fantasy allegations, Gaetz was blackmailed and has been cleared by the FBI. Trump ran the pageant. Jordan has been cleared. But, Robin Ware/Robert L. Peters/JRB Ware/Pedo Peter/idiot Biden really IS a pedophile. When you constantly focus on the lies you and the left invent about Trump’s character, the FACTS of Robin Ware/Robert L. Peters/JRB Ware/Pedo Peter/idiot Biden’s character (and the character of those who support the scumbag) IS the issue. But, you don’t “focus on issues”. You focus on propaganda.

How about checking how many times DeplorableMe aka Just Plain Bill and TrumpWon have smeared President Biden with pedophilia and child molestation allegations—you know, just to be fair.

Um… those aren’t allegations. They are statement of FACT, as confirmed, in writing and in person, by the victim. Robin Ware/Robert L. Peters/JRB Ware/Pedo Peter/idiot Biden IS a pedophile. Even his son calls him “Pedo Pete”. Unlike your sexual fantasies concerning you and Trump, THIS is FACT.

But YOU compared the taste. That’s significant.

his followers, who can’t even engage in civil discourse anymore.

Yeah, once in a while you’ll get some shit from a guy like me who’s tired of your lies, gaslighting, and bullshit, but we on the other hand have public figures threatening to put us in camps and trying to seriously compare us to Nazis, and we are routinely called “cultists” for preferring normality over the madness and stupidity of the last 15 years, what with government grooming gangs and a host of other idiocies. Spare me your sore ass. Seriously, just spare me. Now, as to that list of yours….

Social Security

…is a Ponzi scheme which would send anyone else operating on those principles to prison a la Bernie Madoff, and which was a program no one was clamoring for and which is completely bankrupt.

Medicare

is likewise bankrupt and distorts the market in medical care, driving up prices for all of us.

disaster asisstance, air traffic control

I’ll let the two of those slide — barely — but you have a Sisyphean task of proving they can’t be done better by independent actors outside government — especially as the fetish of diversity hiring accelerates.

monitoring for international terrorist attacks

Well I, for one, learned on 9/11 that our biggest problem is stupid immigration policy, so once the government decides to act in our interests on that front, then maybe I’ll take this one seriously.

public health

You want me to take that seriously? After the complete clusterfck of the last four years? A sea of never ending lies?

Anyway, the public does not have health. Individuals have health. There is no role for the state in that if they’re not going to screen for tuberculosis at the border as it’s being bum-rushed.

I’m not even going to respond to “public education,” you obviously being a product of it.

regulation [of] powerful corporations

Stop and think. Have we considered whether these idiot government paper-pushers even know what the hell they’re doing? Whether they’re doing more harm than good? if they’re just raiding the treasury at someone else’s expense?

Never mind that these people breathe the same air and drink the same water — pollution is an easily controllable problem without vast bureaucracies looting the treasury and screwing with us.

Meanwhile, the public roads are like driving on the moon, the border doesn’t exist, our foreign policy seems calculated to cause maximum embarrassment, elections are dangerously close to being complete shams, the currency is being destroyed, the value of our savings is depleted, we are awash in a sea of barbaric, hostile, and dissimilar foreigners, we now live in a surveillance state that features political prisoners, and the supposedly popular “programs” of the last 100 years (that simply take from people who earn and give to others while skimming some off the top) are financial time bombs that will destroy what immigration and stupid foreign policy did not.

So do tell — exactly what benefit are we getting from that money seized from us without our input?

What makes you think you’ll have more input with authoritarians running the show on behalf of multi-millionaires and billionaires? Do you imagine more crumbs will fall from the table if their feast is even bigger?

Your Social Security is on the menu.

Last edited 26 days ago by Greg

biden is an authoritarian.

Why SS why not welfare of young able bodied?
Why not foreign welfare.
Why not war funding?
Why not grants to NGOs?
Duplicated federal agencies?

This response of yours isn’t even coherent, let alone persuasive. You’re still caterwauling like it’s 1980 and you’re trying to persuade against Reagan even though that’s well over 40 years ago and it’s obvious not only that his policies but the free market generally makes bigger things possible for everybody. Effing pathetic, frankly.

He had to think LONG and HARD to come up with that response. He’s kind of obsessed.

Greg Federal regulation is the only thing stopping competition for the mega corps, they lobby for it.

The question that I like to ask every time they pass one of their laws is do people have a choice? If they don’t, we don’t need it.

Most people weren’t driving with their toddlers in safety seats until it was mandated by law. I remember when fake doctors promoted cigarettes on TV until it was banned. For 40.2 percent of retired Americans, Social Security is their only regular retirement income; without mandatory participation in the retirement insurance program, many wouldn’t even have that.

Stop with the mythology. It’s bankrupt. We can’t afford to keep buying votes like this. The account is empty. Just think though what these people could have invested in with ALL of their money for all of those years instead of being stolen and wasted by the morons you so desperately defend.

Most people wouldn’t have invested; not everyone who plays the markets wins.

Privatization schemes are really all about diverting the FICA revenue stream into channels where private entities can skim off profits. NOT ONCE have advocates explained where the money would then come from to continue paying America’s 67 million current retirees. From general revenue? Nope. Privatization advocates sure as hell have no intention to raise taxes. They want to cut taxes even further. So where does the money come from, with deficits already out of control?

Maybe they’d just crank up the printing presses and trigger skyrocketing inflation that would totally wipe out the dollar and everyone’s savings. Maybe we could shift to a miracle crypto economy or grow money on trees. Call me skeptical.

Are any of the above questions “incoherent”? Can you answer any of them? Are you going to buy another pig in a poke?

Last edited 26 days ago by Greg

The agreement with Opec has expired 50 years on the petro dollar is over, petro products are not being sold with only US dollars. China and other countries are dumping bonds. Every time there is a mention of cutting spending you go ape shit the children will starve. Still you bitch about debt, just STFU unless you can name big things that can be cut.

Privatization schemes are really all about diverting the FICA revenue stream into channels where private entities can skim off profits.

Somehow that would be worse than government continuing to take its cut?

Awww, did you really believe that crackpot old harpie Pelosi when she said taxation has a multiplier effect??

Yes, we need to cut taxes further, but if there’s going to be an income tax (and there shouldn’t be) then *everyone* needs to be in on that. No more voting yourself money from someone else’s pockets.

NOT ONCE have advocates explained

That’s bullshit, actually, there are decades of proposals out there, but for some reason, your party just wants to keep blowing up the budget.

The federal government administers the Social Security program for a smaller percentage of total funds paid each year than ANY private annunity company. Their operating costs amount to only 1/2 of one percent of all annual benefits paid.

Policy Basics: Top Ten Facts about Social Security
———

That’s bullshit, actually, there are decades of proposals out there, but for some reason, your party just wants to keep blowing up the budget.

Really? Name one, and provide a link. They’ve periodically rolled out crackbrain schemes that never get into specific details. Everything they pitch is a pig in a poke. They sell promises, not feasible ideas. Every damn one of the GOP’s tax cuts that was supposed to “pay for itself” has boosted deficits higher. THERE IS NO FREE LUNCH.

“Reagan took the deficit from $70 billion to $175 billion. Bush 41 took it to $300 billion. Clinton got it to zero. Bush 43 took it from zero to $1.2 trillion. Obama halved it to $600 billion. Trump’s got it back to a trillion.”

Last edited 26 days ago by Greg

This really isn’t that hard. It’s the spending, not tax cuts.
https://www.discoursemagazine.com/p/in-actual-dollars-tax-cuts-boost-revenue-time-after-time

Here too.
https://www.politico.com/news/2021/10/12/tax-revenue-surge-pandemic-515792

The problem with social security is simply numbers. Not enough people paying in versus the number collecting. That number has shrunk over the decades so now it’s about 2.5 to 1. That is not sustainable. Also if you go back to FDR and the creation of SS. They used actuarial information to decide when a person could start collecting. So it was set up for people to collect for a relative short period of time then pass away. Hundreds were paying in for every one person collecting. Those two items make it easily sustainable. Such is not the case today. We live longer today so people collect for decades, something SS was never meant for as created. As mentioned above the number of collecting to those paying in has dropped dramatically. As currently structured in any other case it would be called a Ponzi scheme.

About those Clinton years, first we had the Republican led contract with America. Second we had the dot com boom then bust in 2000. The boom created the tax revenue windfall then bust ending it.

Here’s how Biden is doing. Want more of this?
https://www.cnbc.com/2024/03/01/the-us-national-debt-is-rising-by-1-trillion-about-every-100-days.html

Clinton got it to zero.

Too young to remember the ’90s, Sport? Or just don’t care how spending works when it’s convenient?

That “Zero” came from one person and one person only: Newt Gingrich. Were it not for the ’94 midterms, Slick Willie and Her Royal Pantsuit would have continued to spend like drunken sailors.

Speaking of imposing safety, why does the Robin Ware/Robert L. Peters/JRB Ware/Pedo Peter/idiot Biden purposely leave the border open even as there are new rapes and murders of young girls by his illegal immigrants almost every few days now?

Who gives a fuck what an Irish actor has to say?

Last edited 26 days ago by TrumpWon

Your problem is that you don’t think about what people say—only who’s saying it.

“#4 and #9 as compared to Joey Biden?”

There is no purposeful reason to think about anything a leftist says. There is not one leftist on this planet who’s words carry any import to anyone including you skipper.

In other words, you won’t touch those obvious and enormously important questions with a 10-foot pole… Anybody?

There is no purposeful reason to think about anything a leftist says.

Given you ignored my response to your government dick-suck list earlier, you know where you can stick your complaints about someone not giving you the answer you want.

It is the left that is most in bed with the wealthy. They need LOTS of funds to destroy our constitutional republic.
