The reason that Twitter didn’t get rid of child exploitation may have been found

Elon Musk gave us several assurances when he took over Twitter. One of them was transparency. He sought to this initially through Matt Taibbi on Twitter Files #1. It turned out that he was being hampered by James Baker, the former general counsel of the FBI who endeavored greatly to undermine President Donald Trump while at the FBI and then at Twitter. At Twitter Baker was part of the cabal to block stories of the Hunter Biden laptop and suspend those who dared even speak of it.

Another of Musk’s assurances was to purge it of child sexual exploitation (CSE), child sexual abuse and child trafficking. Twitter was oddly resistant to the removal of such information

Before Musk bought the tech company in October, the censorship police at Twitter permitted child porn to exist on the app for years. Instead of combating the exploitation of children, Twitter employees focused their energy on silencing people with whom they disagreed, such as deleting doctors who deviated from the government and Big Pharma narrative on Covid, removing the sitting President of the United States Donald Trump, and suppressing the explosive Hunter Biden laptop story (which boosted then-candidate Joe Biden in the 2020 election).

The family of one victim had to resort to suing Twitter in 2021 in order to have the vile materials deleted from the site.

It didn’t make sense until recently, when the attitudes of certain people shed a light on what was going on. Yoel Roth was the Global Head of Trust and Security for Twitter. His main focus was blocking the truth about the Hunter Biden laptop, suspending Donald Trump from the platform and interfering in the 2020 election by smothering conversative voices.

He also had some pretty interesting things going through his head and he freely expressed them on Twitter

And this snarky tweet

I think this is an interesting insight into how the mind of Twitter’s former Global Head of Trust and Security functions and why Twitter had the priorities it did.

Most fascinating to me is the amount of vitriol directed at Elon Musk from the left for cleaning out the site. Oh, they call it fascism and like, but it makes me wonder just how pervasive the fascination with child porn was on the part of liberals.

And I am genuinely impressed with the group Gays Against Groomers. They’re doing a wonderful job of exposing child predators and the establishments that support those desiring to prey on children. It’s far more prevalent than you might think.

And I agree with this completely. It’s where this was all going

Radical left-wing activists tried to jump to Roth’s defense but were brought to an abrupt halt.

And the ever so predictable NY Magazine weighed in

On Saturday, Musk falsely implied in tweets that Twitter’s former head of Trust & Safety, Yoel Roth — who is gay — has advocated for child sexualization.

This was based on a single tweet- not the totality of data. Then Danner wrote:

This was not the first time Musk has trafficked in anti-LGBTQ tropes, either. Just days after taking control of Twitter, Musk tweeted then deleted a news story promoting baseless conspiracy theory, which deployed a homophobic trope, regarding the brutal recent attack on Paul Pelosi.

As noted by Jaimee Mitchell above, this has nothing to do with being gay. It was Roth’s job to clean this out of Twitter and he didn’t do it.  And we still don’t know the full truth about the Paul Pelosi incident because the Pelosi’s refuse to release the bodycam video.

There was a time you couldn’t even include the word “groomer” in a tweet as you would be locked out of your account or suspended. Now it seems apparent why and it’s a lot more widespread than anyone thought.

This is getting really dark
