Welcome back! As we take in the final days of what appears to be the final presidency of a United States, here are a few highlights. Or lowlights:

1/7 – Chinese Foreign Ministry Compares D.C. Riot to Hong Kong Protests

1/8 – BIG TECH PURGE: Facebook permanently bans Conservative #WalkAway group because it supported Trump

This is one of the less noticed stories among the recent purge, but think if the parties were reversed – Brandon Straka would probably have been Time’s Person of the Year

1/9 – Fire Firefox

Damn. I’d abandoned them years ago when they fired their CEO and started using it again over Chrome or anything Microsoft. So now my primary two browsers are brave and Opera. Any suggestions to replace Chrome and Firefox?

Comparing our Chinese controlled Democratic Party to the Vichy French in WWII. I have full faith that President-Elect Biden* will serve his masrters well.

1/13 – The NHL Just Got Me Fired Because I Worked for the Trump Campaign

I’d like to see more investigation of this before we condemn the NHL, but I wouldn’t be the slightest bit surprised if we were to hear more. And as much as I hate to suggest “guilty until proven innocent” idea, a simple way to make this go away would be for the NHL to directly hire the lad. Or at least issue an official statement.

1/14 – RECONCILIATION, WHO WANTS THAT?

To put a finer point on it, why would we Normals want reconciliation with the Radicals who want us either dead, destitute, silenced, imprisoned, or some combination of each?

1/15 – The ‘Good American’
