Yesterday Tucker Carlson told his audience that documents which were to be sent to him disappeared.
A shipment of “damning” documents linked to Hunter Biden and his father mysteriously disappeared in transit to Los Angeles, Fox News host Tucker Carlson revealed on his show Wednesday night.
“There is always a lot going on that we don’t have time to get to on the air,” the “Tucker Carlson Tonight” host told his audience, “but there is something specific going on behind the screens that we did feel like we should tell you about.
“On Monday of this week, we received from a source a collection of confidential documents related to the Biden family,” Carlson went on. “We believe they are authentic, they’re real, and they’re damning.”
Carlson added he was contacted by the source while in Los Angeles preparing to interview Tony Bobulinski, a former business associate of Hunter Biden, who detailed Joe’s purported knowledge of his son’s foreign dealings on the Fox News show Tuesday night.
“We texted a producer in New York and asked him to send those documents to us in L.A, ” Carlson explained. “And he did that, so Monday afternoon of this week, he shipped the documents overnight to California with a large national carrier, a brand-name company that we’ve used, you’ve used, countless times with never a single problem.”
But the documents never arrived in Los Angeles, Carlson said.
“Tuesday morning we received word from the shipping company that our package had been opened and the contents were missing. The documents had disappeared.”
The left immediately pounced on this, mocking Carlson for his “conspiracy” falling apart.
Twitter users are laughing at the Fox News host’s “dog ate my conspiracy theory” excuse.
And it posts a bunch of tweets
Oh for f*%! sake, seriously? Would have been a better story if your dog ate the damn papers. https://t.co/6yllQu7pU0

Obviously the executive producer tipped off the Clinton Foundation, which has a network of deep penetration document-interception agents inside Fedex. Trust nobody. https://t.co/fhobizU5Eb

This is – and I do not say this lightly – the dumbest fucking thing this dumb motherfucker has ever broadcast.
The Boya from La Jolla alleges his team had critical documents but didn’t bother making a copy and just dropped them in a FedEx where nefarious things occurred!

There are several more at the link.
But then today, they were located.
- UPS said it found the set of documents that Tucker Carlson said had “vanished” in transit and would be damaging to Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden and his family.
- Carlson told viewers the documents had disappeared but did not name the courier transporting them. UPS then confirmed to Business Insider that it was the carrier.
- UPS has since told Business Insider that it found the documents “after an extensive search.”
- Carlson, a vocal advocate of President Donald Trump, has previously hyped up the importance of unconfirmed revelations about Biden.
- Fox News did not respond to a request for comment.
Something doesn’t quite add up and it made me think. Carlson never said that he hadn’t made copies of the documents. He let people assume he did not.
Let’s play “what if?”
What if Carlson suspected someone in his circle was a spy?
What if he wanted to prove that the Biden campaign had a lot to lose and sent someone to make them disappear?
What if he was smoking someone out?
What if he set this in motion as a sting operation? That would be classic Tucker.
I could be all wrong, of course, but something is afoot. Look forward to tonight.
